There was a spontaneous OOC magitek armor battle that took place with random people that were running around the ward that my fc house is in. It was very random but it really made me happy today, so that random magitek armor battle was a good thing that happened to me today. We started shooting from the roof and everything If any of you are out there who were part of it (I had not seen any of them before, but who knows!) thanks for that.

This sounds like a really cool idea! I might be interested in joining it on an alt. A certain derp kitty of mine has been poking around at different trades as of late (run.)

I think I am going to have Titor contract this for a bit (Because a blind Titor is... interesting. He has no feeling in his arms, so he is going to have to barefoot Toph-style it around for a bit, using conjury probably which will just humiliate him) However since he is half-Garlean (though does not know it yet), I was going to have his effect be disorientation and decreased cognitive functions/confusion coming from that part of his lineage. I hope that would be ok! So he will get temporary blindness and confusion.

Wow that is a really great summery of lore! Titor himself is actually an original character to an original universe. His universe looks simple on the front but is actually very, very complex. I will kind of summarize it in a tl;dr version His universe is kind of an alternate future of the real world. It is not exactly a direct future of our real world, but has a lot of similarities to it. The world is much more militaristic as it has been at war for a long time. Pretty much everyone contributes directly to the cause in one way or another. Many requirements to enlist in the military had been abolished as they just wanted more bodies for the cause. In fact, they highly encourage sick but able-bodied people to join, to give them a 'noble' death (This is how Titor got enlisted, since he was anemic) There are aliens. There is not a big known presence of the aliens. There is not a war against the aliens. They are kind of about and in hiding, harvesting the wounded or dead off the battlefield for experimentation. Technology is advanced, but not terribly advanced. Humankind lost a lot of their scientific progress when the war started, since all resources ended up being devoted to it or military technologies. The war started over a misfire of a new weapon, an accident, that spanned into a war that lasted many, many years and involved most, if not all of the countries. Genetic experimentation and cybernetics experiments existed, as a result there are some mutated creatures (Half animal, half human) that would not be in the nice antho version that most series portray them as. They are, for the most part, abominations. A bird-human that has wings on their head and feet and feathers growing in patchy parts of their body, a cat-human who had human ears that are grown over with flesh, and painfully near-deaf cat ears on his head (resulting in brain damage since the holes for the ears on top of the head formed differently than would be on a human). Things like that. Cybernetics experiments were a bit less gruesome, though still inhumane. Human bodies controlled only by AIs, and stuff. However all of these experiments are just emerging, and the experiments usually died off very soon after reaching maturity (Which was usually an accelerated maturity to cause them to age to adulthood after a few months) Both the experiments are done kind of on the downlow. They are not illegal, nor are they legal. People will protest their ethics, but in the end, progression and 'the cause' are put over the calls of those against it. The universe is also a multiverse universe. There is a common, fixed point across the universes called the Arc. The Arc is a very complex topic, so not really going to write much about it here, just that the universe heavily focuses on multiverse theories and paradoxes and alternate outcomes. I had been wanting to write a book on Titor's canon universe, however I usually lacked motivation to do so (which lead to only a few excerpts being written). Maybe for NaNoWriMo sometime I will try to get a first book done. It would definitely be a series.

We had a few awesome interactions over the last few days! Between an internal Round-Robin Teaching event (where individuals were paired off into groups of two and had 20 minutes to ICly teach the other person something new), and attending the Royal Ball together, it was definitely a great past few days! We are still looking for just a few more members. We currently have around 20 active, unique members, and hoping to rest around the 30 mark. From there recruitment will still be open, albeit much more selectively. If you would like to join the Division, now would be an excellent chance! I always wanted to do something like this, unfortunately it would not be the best thing right now for Titor and I do not have enough money to spend on extra fantasias :< I think it is a neat idea though, and one I had a few times myself back when I did have spare fantasias (But instead decided to go with the 'fantasia accident' angle for a week or two. That was fun)

I feel the same way, we all have access to the same information, there are even 1.0 archives and other such things that we can go to to piece together lore. It would be better to have the character's story in question in the open, imo, so that anyone can chime in if they wish to. If you want to keep the story mostly a secret, then just one or two questions that you think might be an issue?

Yep I moved on by making new, better connections, reconciling with the in-game relationships they attempted to tear apart, and moving on with my IC story and OOC psyche, and it has been much healthier for me in general. My advice would be try to find the positive in the situations. If someone really turns on your suddenly or is knowingly setting up the conditions for rampant dramamongering, that is not really someone that should not really be wanted in your IC and OOC life, and was never really a friend to begin with. Just keep trying to be the best person you can be, that is what I do, at least, and it seems to have worked quite well.

I do not normally post here, but RP has been so awesome lately, I feel like I should mention a few people and groups Kudos for T3-RP for being amazing and a really, really great tavern! Their members are always a pleasure to RP with and interact with. Kudos to Lili for being my FC leader senpai and generally all around positive and uplifting! Kudos to Rhiawen for her awesome plots and well thought out characters, as well as always being an OOC pleasure. Kudos to Mhaya for being a really great OOC friend and very fun to hang out with! We need to RP more. Kudos to Erik for being an excellent RPer and for organizing awesome events, really looking forward to the ball! Kudos to the EMS for having extremely interesting conversations in our group skype General Kudos to everyone whom I have rped with/interacted with before! Kudos to the members of my FC for being all amazing, wonderful, helpful, and kind people. And finally. A big kudos to my FC officers for helping me set up awesome, fun, immerse roleplay and events!

I feel like this is needed on this thread

Arcanists/scholars (at least as portrayed through MSQ and most of the players I have met) are not really the witchy type... They are more of scientists and mathematicians, relying more on numbers and calculations over rituals and mysticism. Same with alchemists.

I think that it will take a bit before the plot kind of trickles into RP. I kind of see this as being quite covered up. I intend on not bringing any of these events to the forefront of RP in my FC until it moves out of 'spoilers' territory and more into common knowledge. However, at this point, Titor might know a bit of what happened due to his involvement in the Flames, but will be kept under secrecy and acting as if nothing had happened. However, I do not intend for it to drive RP for myself anytime soon.
