oh-kay tried to reply and my phone ate my post but i'm home now first off; hihi and welcome! it's great that you're wanting to try your hand and rp and asking for people for advice being new and shy is a great way to do so. (as you've already seen, i'm sure x3) you're also on balmung which is great! (nothing against greg....but i'm on bamung so you kno.. ;p ) at any point feel free to hit me up for either some chitchat or walkup rp. usually i post clio in the quicksand in uldah at night and just kinda idle there so anyone interested is more than welcome to come chat me up ic. or if you'd like; i'm usually open and up for tells/chat/linkshell chatter as well. if you haven't yet already; you should brows the linkshell forum and see if there's any that catch your interest. most players that are open for rp will have something along the lines of "walk up welcome" in their search info as well so feel free to shoot them a quick tell to ask if they'd like to rp with you if they don't seem to be busy. also there are some great guides and general lore debate threads in the rp discussion forum, i'd shoo you that way for a quick peek as well if you haven't already. i've found a lot of good information from them just lurking around and reading what others have posted. but if you're ever in rp and have a question about something, always feel free to send your rp partner a quick tell asking. more than likely; they'll be happy to answer and help you out. :3

i understand why they're doing this and even think it's a good idea...it's a great way to help get people that haven't played in a long time to be re-interested in the game before 3.0 but that being said....i got booted seven times last night in about three hours before i finally gave up. all i was doing was trying to mine and wasn't anywhere near "heavy areas" such as the gold saucer. omg i hope the rest of the week isn't like this

"Would be a nice change of pace and it's good exercise, in any case." Tinted lips pucker into a soft pout with her reply before curving into a grin. Cliodna rested her chin in the palms of her upturned hands; elbows propped on the table as she spoke. "Well...work doesn't really come into conversation when we've had our last few encounters, but as I've stated before," She paused, shifting her weight till she was sitting on one folded leg, the other rocking back and forth on the toe of her boot in a slightly jittery manner. "I make monsters." Waiting a moment with a straight face, Cliodhna let her free hand skirt over the edge of the book and flip a few more pages; quick images of various devices and weaponry fluttered past view in quick succession. "Currently I'm working on outfitting some airships with proper weaponry to defend themselves in combat. So you can guess that would mean building and attaching all sorts of nasty cannons and things of that nature." A wicked expression gracing her features at this point, her enjoyment from the thought obvious. "but I also tinker in my spare time and make things of my own devices or even reverse engineer things that....others...have made. Usually the latter is done by request of my job to get a better understanding and to see how it can be utilized, but I'd be lying if I didn't say there wasn't a personal interest in it as well...." Cliodhna swept her hair form her shoulders as she trailed off.

I do believe I snuck in to watch once as Gentle Sun (which is awfully ironic) but I might actually go again! Was fun watching. Also for anyone wanting a chat or anything, I dunno, I'll be online alllll evening (despite being a GMT peep). lol you're always welcome to just come in and try to strike up some idle conversation but if you want to compete; that's always great too

That's... some shitty handling for school traffic. if i get there at 1:15 i'm better off just pulling her out of school early to make sure erik can get to work on time. at the start of the year they said "oh it'll get faster once they know who belongs to what car" yeah that was total bs cause they still have car walkers (people who escort the kids to the car) asking her to point out my car >.> and her getting to my car on time is pointless if i have four ahead of me waiting for fifth graders >.> but we live too close for the bus and it's too far to walk. .---. not to mention we'd have to cross a highway to get there...

:surprise: I hope all of this doesn't deter from the idea of gathering together and not fighting. I know this sounds silly, thinking about these scarves makes me feel like people would be trying to look like bandits or avoid a spreading sickness... considering what people wear as their character's clothes.. who cares about the face if their arms and everything is exposed anyway. Though at the same time I guess depending on what people wear it'd be hard to see jewelry and it is also very level dependent for the look. of course not. this is just some suggestions on items that can be passed out as ppe for the people since from the sounds of it; it's a pretty dangerous area. but in the end; it's your decision and i'm sure ilwe will make whichever items you'll like handed out at the event. i'm just mostly debating the uses for some ideas but offering help in gathering mats for the most part. i really have enjoyed the two events that i've been able to attend so far and a lot of fighting/drama is the last thing i want to see happen at them. trust me; these are very relaxed and enlightening and i'd hate to see them be derailed from that focus :3

this school's parking lot....i have to be here and sit in my car by 12:45 if i hope to get my daughter out on time at two. if i get here even five minutes after one; i've already got a lineup of about six cars ahead of me (which the older kids are let out later than my kid) or worse yet; i'll have to wait in the street about a block away because the line gets that long

i do have the bad habit of turning gear i'm using into flame hall on those deliverly missions tho.. >.>;;; Maybe that's where a few missing gear set pieces have gone...... could be. i know that's the reason more than once i've accidently participated in "pantsless tuesday" before running to replace them
