Good things that happened to you today

Hello!

We have Free hugs, which one is great way to make people feel better. But because I'm really shy to give hugs or receive ones I thought maybe there is another way to cheer up and here it is: 

Sometimes it feels like nothing good happened today and I feel like this today.. So after thinking while I noticed that it is not true! Even you day is terrible, smallest things can cheer you up. 

 

So.. point is.. Think something good that happened to you today and tell about it. It doesn't have to be anything grand or great! Remember not matter how small it is, it is still good thing! And thinking good things  you had today.. They cheers you up!

 

My own good experience:

Came home from work, soaked wet because of the rain and had some stress.. 

Then I walk inside and smell food that my mom has made. Pork steak with mashed potatoes.

 

That cheered me up!

I laid down on the floor and played grrr and tumble with our two dogs.

 

I get covers in dust a few scratches and a big smile!

Woke up pain free after sleeping through the whole night, and without an alarm clock or message alert from the truck computer.

Had both my annual and monthly reviews at work come back as all thumbs up. My supervisors had lots of good things to say about lil ole me!

I had this really yummy potato/cheese wrapped in some crispy egg-roll type bread thingy this morning. It tasted hella rad. I also had chocolate. Pretty much food has been awesome today. Hhhhngh, food. ♥

I got a CPAP machine. The thing takes some getting used to, so I've determined that in order to get used to it I need to spend some time awake using it. The best possible time to do this would be while playing video games, specifically Elite Dangerous. This, combined with my 6dof rig, will make Elite Dangerous the most immersive video game experience I've ever had. Picture me sitting in a cockpit style chair, CPAP mask on my face breathing Darth Vader style, wearing an Imperial flight helmet. It's everything my eight-year-old self could have ever hoped to achieve.

As for me, I finally got a piece of loot from running today that I've wanted for quite a while. It felt good to put that crown on my head, haha! And friends of mine got pieces they wanted as well. It was a great farming day.

I got open headcount to hire a senior developer today, so my days of making due with a team of only consultants is coming to an end!

 

And I had a really good bowl of brisket and tendon pho. Yum!

Mine isn't that amazing, but I finally got stable (and fast holy shit) internet after a few months of having a terrible connection. No more constant disconnects! I can actually play again.

I will tell about another good thing. Today(Thursday) I enjoyed weather. Weather was awesome and this time I wasn't forced to go into dark tunnel, so I could enjoy sun!

 

So Instead being in  Tunnel and having bad weather, I had awesome spring weather!

I stayed up late into today for this to happen but in game I was able to muster enough gil and get me and my in game partner our bracelets to get married so tonight's good thing will add onto it when her and I go do out quests and get things set up!  

 

IRL I got two of my applications I had sent out referred to the selecting official. No interviews yet but a step in the right direction. At this point, Denver or Augusta, Georgia.
