Rusty Knight Posted October 15, 2015 Share #3 Posted October 15, 2015 Prepare to have all your non-heretical Ishgardians (The 1%*) rekt by having their faith ripped away from them. The excitement to see what happens in Ishgard is real. In a way I'm kind of hoping the entire system in Ishgard begins to crumble when everyone finds out the Noble houses aren't really that noble but I also guess the Church will be trying to twist the story into something they can ride out. Me right now... *not statistical data Link to comment
Dravus Posted October 15, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 15, 2015 I'm personally hoping for a Final Fantasy Tactics style twist. Something suitably bittersweet and tragic. I don't want Ishgard's culture to shift too much because I'd find that very boring. I'd love to see the poor attempt to rise up against the wealthy and be cut down in the process. Or better yet for the poor to be shown as misguided and selfish, lashing out at everyone who happens to be positioned on a higher rung of the ladder than they are. That would be far more realistic than them receiving a happy ending and equality. Link to comment
111 Posted October 15, 2015 Share #5 Posted October 15, 2015 Evangeline will be vindicated. THE GODS ARE FALSE THE CHURCH IS A LIE. Link to comment
Zelmanov Posted October 15, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted October 15, 2015 I hope what I predicted of Ishgard's development comes true so then I don't need to massively retcon Orrin >_> Link to comment
mongi291 Posted October 15, 2015 Share #7 Posted October 15, 2015 I don't know what to expect. But I'm hyped, either way. Even though I suspect we'll see Halone summoned as a primal, sooner or later, during 3.x. I mean, we know from the Little Ala Mhigo story arc in 2.0 that even the Twelve can be summoned as primals (Wilred and the others planned to summon Rhalgr). Link to comment

Sounsyy Posted October 15, 2015 Share #11 Posted October 15, 2015 Notice the aetherial goggles on the left (right shoulder). So another Scion - probably Krile finally joining the team. Quote Truly!? Krile is alive!? Thank the Twelve! Link to comment
Kage Posted October 15, 2015 Share #12 Posted October 15, 2015 Scholars of Baldesion... the name Krile. Pretty sure it's an FFXIV version of Krile Mayer Baldesion. She's a badass. Link to comment

Kage Posted October 15, 2015 Share #14 Posted October 15, 2015 Thank god Krile finally healed enough and is conscious. And working! For those who can't access the lodestone, here you go (for MSQ and Void Ark Preview) Warning big high res pics :3 MSQ Preview (Reveal hidden contents) http://gamerescape.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/ffxiv_pub_pach3.1_07___c______x__g_4-667x1024.jpg As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness In the wake of the Warrior of Light’s return from Azys Lla, the nation of Ishgard trembled, the faith of her people shaken to its very core. For a thousand years had they fought and died, certain of the justice of their cause, only to be told that their holy war was born of blood and betrayal. What then, for those brave men and women, thus stripped of their righteousness, but to despair? To deny the truth and decry its speakers? And what then for those whom they defamed but to hope on? To have faith in a brighter tomorrow? A tomorrow in which man and dragon might live together in harmony─then as distant as the very stars in the heavens... Hey Derplander and PalRoe are back!! Void Ark Previews (Reveal hidden contents) With advances in the usage of airships and amidst the arrival of the so-called “Great Sky Age,” there are those who ride their own airships through the skies seeking hidden lands and mystery. They are known as “sky pirates.” There has been a rumor spreading amongst the sky pirates of a ghost ship wandering across the skies – an ark filled with evil power that was created long ago by mages to run from cataclysm. Level Requirement Disciple of War or Magic level 60 Item Level Requirement Average item level 175 or above Party Size 24 players (three parties of eight) Time Limit 120 minutes Quest To Rule the Skies Prerequisites Players must first complete the quest "Sky Pirates." Did you see anything in the final cut when you defeated him? A: He had only just woken up too and didn’t seem very strong. Pretty much when I saw that answer I knew he was coming back. Didn't think it was going to be Void Ark but I suspected with the whole Mhachi reference and War of Magi reference that it was possible. Fuck yes previews for the hype. INB4 Mhachi stasis to serve as summon sacrifices. Link to comment
