Having just drooled over your wiki for Tira, and seeing she is bubbly it would be un I think. Very much a breath of fresh air to all the tortured souls out there.

The FC is closed and not active. If you want the Fated Inn it has moved look The Fated Inn's friendship evenings for the Inn's details.

That's a heavy part of my frustration. Plus the login errors that, in my mind, put me even further back in the queue. So, in a roundabout way, I feel like FFXIV itself got in my way and kept me from even having a chance. If I had gotten in on the first login and still had not made it in time, then I probably would've been less upset. But having four errors that forced me to relaunch the game and attempt to login again... I attribute that to ending up on the end of a four digit queue and ending up finally getting in nearly five minutes after everything was already gone. Yes this ^ , ah well, some nice people are letting us move into their FC with a big house. At least my FC fellows will have a home.

And with that I am likely leaving the game. This is so broken it is untrue. Over 80% of the new housing taken by individuals. Not much of a surprise there. There are, after all, a lot more indivduals than Free Companies in the game - and most of them would want a house. End result of this update: A few more people and FCs got a house than before, but nowhere near everyone who wanted one. I doubt anyone with half a brain truely expected anything else. Those who have some hope may have expected there to be enough for a chance for something. Sadly greed of players, and SE's intents to create this housing market leave me disheartened. I can find this stuff in RL, I don't need to pay to be subjected to it in a game.

The /busy I had not thought of, thanks. Monk stance is a good one. Also you could sprint. Start from a ward rather than the city or entrance, as likely to be less crowded. Decide if you will use the local aetherite and run, or mount up and ride? Have your backup locations picked. If fail, check all wards as some may be dropping plots to buy new ones. Make all officers able to purchase plots. That way you increase your chances. And pray to the Internet gods.

That's us, there is already someone lined up who wants the old plot (not charging any money btw) and we will be joining the land rush. You can enable all officers to purchase/vacate so you can go for multiple plots at once as you FC can only have one plot. Now if only it was PvP area in the wards?

There are many.. MANY.. OOC LS. What to look for: How many members? What time-zones? General chat vs specific theme or topic? Moderated? (do the owners care?) Amount of rules? (a good way to tell the type of people in the LS) How active are they (most jump from deadly quiet to manic at any given time) What there are few of is IC LS (/cry)

Look outside of the character to create events that she finds herself in. Find a project, like helping some village or group Get involved in a victim of bandits Go shopping for a summer dress Find an injured chocobo ... Anything really. You just need some others to drag along.

Balmung If you have characters there already great, if not you will need to camp the times when the window to create characters is open or transfer in from another server. There are many threads on tranfering if you are thinking of that route.

Many FCs are openly inclusive and some are even aimed at LGBT, as well as some Linkshells too. Overall I think this is quite an open community in this way.
