I have tried with Explorer, Chrome and Opera. The page is blank and appears like it is trying to load, but never does. There are no errors. What has worked is using a VPN to the US, then it comes up. I am in the UK. And it is a lovely thing you have done :love: [EDIT] It's now working without the VPN.. so who knows

It does not seem to work for me just spins around busy but never loads.

Personally I tend to RP doing the healing, the same way I would do say fighting. I don't say I stab then, only that I do stabbing things and similarly I don't say I heal them, only that I do healing things. So I do all the faffing, bits of this and that, magical use and so on. I leave the effect of those down to the patients player to define. They can say themselves if it is whoosh-fix, some improvement, fail, adverse effect etc.. This way I get to be a healer and they get to be whatever they want to be. Where I would draw the line is someone wanting my healer to do things beyond their ability. Like restoring a lost limb, if I were to do it then it would be quite an involved thing like a whole quest/story line.

Cheer up, there may not be new players but there are surely players to have yet to meet. I would try changing things around, go to different events, hang out in different locations, poke me in game. Also if you tend to have specific "standards", loosen them up and treat it like an RP holiday. People are great whatever there RP style. If that fails, take a break and do something else for a bit. On the flip side I know myself I am caught between dailies and RL, and I know I have to drop this illusion of playing so I can get back to doing more RP. I do feel in a bit of a slump atm.

SE could do something, but they won't, except simply extending the problem. At this stage I don't think you can blame those grabbing housing as the system is working as intended. The problem lies in that intention. Best to just ignore housing as there is only pain and disappointment there, and enjoy the rest of the game as there are some nice parts to it

Suffered one DC then three Launcher crashes.. no house On the upside apartments were available so at least got one. Some FC members got a house. Apparently all housing was gone in 15mins I also noted that 6/7 of the housing is personal rather than FC. Housing shortage/system is the worst part of this game bay a mile.

On the up side, watch out for the vacant plots in the other districts as the transfers release plots. I expect some will try and get someone to snag them as they transfer but a few should pop up.

Last time my FC blew up and I quit for 3 months. This time I already have a nice FC house where we want it. So a personal house or appt will be a bonus. Being in UK I expect total failure though. I am more here for the "event" of it all. Good luck and may your shoelace be secure.

Excellent choice! I personally like tend towards the less human races as it allows for extra dimensions to explore. Negative stuff? I don't see them getting any more than other races. I think each race has those who like them and those that dislike them. I have not seen anyone hating on a race. I am also concerned that you will reinforce this negative view that you have by avoiding RPing with anyone playing these races? Why would you do that? I am confused why you would jump from Miqo'te to Hyur and not consider Roe or Elezen or AuRa? Many of us spend more than hours on our characters, please be assured many take this very seriously. I would suggest that you find a suitably serious FC, as that is likely to be the determining factor and not what race you choose. Again, I am not seeing this hate? You are likely to get more heat from Lore Strict folks overplaying a Summoner than your race. My advice, play what you want, what embodies your vision. Picking something to avoid the hate you feel is there will likely always have that bitter taste of compromise. And remember there is always Fantasia. Please don't side with this view of Hate, even if some do hate these races that is no reason to accept it as something you should also practice.

I would say don't fret so much. Most folk wont ever notice this and instead be focused on the RP flow. Perhaps if you are RPing with those who put literary excellence high up on their list of desires then it would be an issue. If it bugs you then fine get to fixing it, but I would not worry about others. I have the worst English, because reasons, though it tends to be of a spelling/typo nature. It does bug me when I do it too much, often when I am really into and excited about the RP. I just have to slow down, use a word processor then cut and paste my responses. Maybe just adding something like that in would give you that time to just self-check what you are writing before posting.

Hmm, well I would start by being clear what the character is aside from any class/job (personally I'd just avoid those anyhow). That way you can probably keep the core/essence and just change the flavor. So Mage/Caster, knows a bit of this and that, and finds that Red mage training works best for them? No reason you cant do some Thaumaturge and Conjure too.
