-Roh has the accent depicted by Odh in the MSQ, his words R's rolling for a bit as if a bit of a growl. -Roh's right ear flicks every time he's nervous or unsure. -When he needs to think to himself, he usually does so while Shadowboxing or practicing his lance form. -His fiancee's nick name for him is Jumping Jack. -He is fiercely competitive. -Enjoys Goldsmithing, isn't half bad at it ether! -He loves himself a Good Mammot steak. -When bored and sure he's alone he has a habit of spinning his lance blade down.

Roh would be by and a wandering trainer roaming the land for good battles and a noble crusade to partake. His team would consist of Cat and knight-esqe Pokemon. However is main partner would be.. Aegislash A pokemon so good they had to nerf his butt.

This is assuming Roh is the main character of the story, and the party is seeking to end some sort of long threat to Eorzea. Also Curious George is there cause he is honestly amazing. -Hilda -Curious Gorge -Godbert Manderville Honorable Mention: -Leava This was originally gonna be Godbert actually!

I found something amazing on my travels on the amazing internet. On youtube there's a song writer I love to listen to called Falconshield. Normally he's most known for his "This is war" Series of songs which are rap battles where various performers do rap battles as various factions of League of legends character but today I found out he did a Heavensward tribute! How did you discover or get YOUR powers/abilities?
U'roh Tia replied to Yunas13's topic in RP Discussion
Roh's closest thing to magical powers is proper Dragoon training. Got a Big ol back story on this one. He got his training from a Ex-Dragoon, who valued her country so much she abandoned it to fight in the end of 1.0. (I can't even spell the place's name I won't even try.) Obviously one does not simply go AWOL in Ishgard and was branded a heretic for her actions. She has long since been given sanctuary in the Shroud for her efforts and spends her days training Adders in lancing techniques. Having found Roh on deaths door, she took him in and trained him, feeling every being has a right to defend their honor and sensing his desire to end his weakness. She spent the next few years training him into the "Free" Dragoon he is and told him many stories of Ishgardian honor. Even now Roh sees this woman as his second mother and she is the source of his Knightly values. -
Here's a new one for one of my Newer Characters. Reiko Oda: Shinobi loses her home to the Garleans, now they must all die for her Ninja Honor.

So it's been sometime since I've been active on these forums and I decided it was about time I came back. So Hello RPC U'roh Tia is officially back!
-
Well, I may finally be able to have my own house. At least till Ishgard housing.

It depends, I'm all for using it as plot points for a RP. For some people wanting to be alongside the heroes is half of the fun of RP. There's no harm in it! For this I do agree with Warren and Mae, I feel that multiple warrior's of light make sense. I.E how many adventurers are being allowed into Ishgard now and allowing new job opportunities for Roh here. ICly I did have Roh sign up for the Braves and offer his services aiding them in their pursuits. I Rp that he has heard of the Scions and even looks up to them as heroes of the realm, he's even jealous of the Warriors of Light's achievements. My other RP character is a Rean Shinobi who is among the Refugees working with them. I'm still fleshing her out but she adventuring to aid those she pledged to! (edited: Forgot a word in my half asleep stupor.)

I'm in a bit of a middle ground, I like writing along with the lore and then bending it just a smidgen sometimes when it's needed to make something work. But like most I am against breaking, what's the point of Rping in a world if you ignore it's lore?

Time for some Delial gifs: Edited cause I am bad at coding.

U'roh Tia: Catboy decides to stupidly challenge the Tribe Nunh, loses and becomes a Dragoon Shounen Hero. The end.

You have a hand written in character journal that describes their personal thoughts and feelings about factions and individuals they come across. Also sketches in a completely different art style then your own.
-
Hey there! My main is a wandering U tribe He isn't actively part of the tribe anymore, but he does have backstory with them! So I could certainly see the connection being there. I sadly do not have any linkshells.

What Primal would you Character serve or work for?
U'roh Tia replied to Asmodean's topic in Fun Prompts
Shiva, by and far. That's right Boys, if serving a Primal. Roh would become a heretic! Roh respects those who unflinchingly fight for their beliefs. A woman who is so fully dedicated to her cause she herself becomes a Primal, how could he not be inspired by someone so dedicated to forging a peace in a year long war? -
cfPVl33Xu7s I then to listen to this quite often while PvPing lately!

Thank You Nat, this is so true. On the Rp spectrum I can relate so hard. I ended up making Roh in Phase three beta, with only Miqo'te Naming conventions and the desire to Rp as my favorite job ever. Next thing you knew I was being thrown very TWO striking obstacles. Ishgard being quite Xenophobic and the fact The Drake tribe lives all the way in Southern Thanalan in the middle of the desert. Through trial, error, playing the MSQ as well as job stories to learn lore and some clever debates with people I finally got Roh in a place RP wise I'm happy with him. "Free" Dragoon Cat. Also through the encouragement of a select few individuals I got over my fear of "Being seen as Cliche or overdone Miqo'te." And threw my self out there. For that I thank those individuals so much for giving me that courage. I only did this cause I had the courage to fail. The same could be said of PvE. I used to hold myself to a absurdly high standard thanks to the previous games and communities I've dealt with. ((FPS and MOBAs mostly.)) I used to think I was a horrible Dragoon, evasive jumping off ledges, taking titan HM AoE's after jumping at wrong times. I felt even worse with all the "lolDRG." being thrown around then. I was just about to do the most heart-wrenching thing I could and just give up on being what I loved, quit being a Dragoon and be something useful as I put it in that state. But, those same people encouraged and supported me. @Zephyo I know that feeling dude. I really do. The possibilities scare those of us who are on that spectrum. I'm on the high functioning spectrum and even still now the threat of failure scares the ever living heck out of me.

Getting my fuffy tail to Ishgard, then promptly losing my mind in a "I'm home." Experience. The finding the Machnist trainer, grabbing that class and going HAM!
