They said they'd "keep monitoring" the situation for each individual server, but that they currently feel they've met the demand. I've made a thread on Balmung's official forums, but who knows when we'll get anything new...

My advice, especially when it comes to dangerous, big drama-fuel things such as romance, is to RP it only with someone you have ICly and most importantly OOCly known for a long, long time. I know romance can be exciting and the urge to jump on the first person who appears to be flirting with us is strong, but always remember that there is a person on the other side of the screen, and that you don't know who that person is and how they are in personality. I have seen a lot of drama occur because two started RPing romance too fast, and then one revealed to want to take the relationship to a level the other wasn't ready for, which resulted to internal drama, drama among linkshells, and in the worst cases, even OOC stalking. My rule of thumb is to open possibilities for IC romantic interests only with people I've roleplayed/OOCly played with for at least one year, but maybe I may be too strict. But hey, it has worked and has saved me a lot of nasty, regretful moments.

It's not difficult to get one at all! Simply register with your email and upload away. You can use Facebook, Photobucket, Imageshack, and more, more more! Personally I use Guildwork (it's like a facebook, but just for MMO players). Once uploaded, right-click on the picture and select "Copy Image URL" or "Copy picture link" (the commands change depending on your browser) and paste it in a post here between the image tags . Most of image sharing sites also provide the link next/below the picture right after the upload is finished, too.

What I do (since my phone cable is stupid and won't be detected by my PC, is send pictures from the phone to my email, then open email on my computer and download them... then upload them on a picture sharing site and post them!

Tried to scan a couple extra pictures of Golden, but the quality is awful: He was pissed to a mare next to him here: This is Diego, the last cat I owned before the Twins. He had a tumour to his paw that'd threaten to invade his ribcage around 10 years old, so we had to amputate sadly. But he didn't seem to give a damn, and kept jumping and running around like a cricket for another two years! Sadly after that, the tumour struck again and we couldn't help him anymore, but I'm sure he enjoyed those extra years he had. Look at that feral yawn!

I admit it, it took me waaaay too long to spot the cat <_< Did I mention I'm a former horse trainer? I think I do in almost every thread I post on >_>; Anyways, sadly I didn't own my first phone until after I was forced to quit the job, so most of my "patients" aren't on my PC pictures, but... here's some of my own horses. Stormy (paint horse) and Golden (creole on paper, but I suspect a Clydesdale hybrid). Stormy passed away a couple years ago sadly :cry: ... Here's some pictures of Golden. The RP I had with Tiergan for the Red Lotus plot today was totally awesome! It felt great to have ladies want to kill me and not drag me to their bedrooms for a change! (...) Yeah, I'm working on my problems still. Seriously though, awesome story!

Ok, I'll try to answer these without taking too much space, since in the end, what others think of what my RP LS does is of little to no matter to me, long as we're having fun (and, since we keep the RP in /ls channel, we don't hurt others either). 1. Why? You didn't really explain that statement. There is no point in the game where the Warrior of Light (or Blade of Light, whatever you call it. I'm not talking only of those from 1.0. The adventurer becomes a Warrior of Light in 2.0 too) is said to be just and only one. I don't even remember any cutscene where the NPC said "I'm sorry I have to send you there all alone, but only you can do it.". The instances would be for single player if that were the case, and I like to believe the cutscenes do not show other players (and in some instances they still do) just for the sake of hardware easiness. 2. Yes, EVERY "shooting star particle" in that cutscene IS an adventurer who received the call. It's what the cutscene is meant for: to show that you are not alone in the crusade to aid Hydaelyn. The crystal is not talking just to you. And those people don't have to have met the Archons either to receive the call as far as I'm concerned. 3. The group showed in the Battle of Cartenau cutscene are just iconic. Not only the derplander's party are the Warriors of Light. All those who played 1.0 and acknowledge its scenario have been. To end it, I don't know what impression people have of us MSQ players, but I assure you that we do not do it for the sake of being special or look down at others. In fact, and I'm speaking just for my group, we have the policy to not mention MSQ-related events when we RP in /say, because we know some people will get offended, because they choose to not do something they could, while instead we did. We have all our rules set up to welcome new members and if anyone comes to us and claims to have been at a certain event, we always find ways to make it plausible. For the sake of making everyone happy, changes can be made in dialogues of NPCs. From Minfilia saying "We need you to do this" to Minfilia saying "We need you guys to do this". And I'm sure you know where I'm getting at. Please, I'd really like the griefing to come to an end. No one of the MSQ roleplayers I know goes to brag about the events we did IC (especially because most of them are supposed to be kept in secrecy) and we accept this strict rule on ourselves to make non-MSQ-RPers happy. And in turn, what do we get? That soon as someone slips and mentions something even so slightly MSQ-related as a primal fight, we get this kinds of threads and ugly looks, if not people walking out on us (hasn't happened to me yet, but I suppose that's because I've yet to slip and accidentally make any game-story-mention in /say, I do hear of a lot of people getting that threatment though). I'm fully against those RPers who make primal fights sound easy-peasy mundane things, yes, but I really do not understand the griefing beyond that.. Hell, currently we're on Haukke Manor, and for the Castrum instances I had in mind to put up RP events in the calendar to find people willing to RP 8-man instances with us (since so far it's just 4 of us in my group)... But now I'm starting to wonder if doing that wouldn't just get me flamed for even suggesting it.

Hello, as a person that roleplays the main scenario, I think I can point out at a couple things. First and foremost, there were no "few" Warriors of Light. There were so many adventurers at the battle of Cartenau, some people's client would just crash. People had to flee the zone and teleport in Ul'hah to escape that madness, and SE acknowledged them enough to send imperials there too in the event. Second, there isn't just one person who got Hydaelyn's call. In fact... My group RPs anyone willing to make such claim to have received Hydaelyn's call, and if someone new joins us, by all means, they can have received that Call too. They just were one among all those dots in the sky! They also can be Scions just like us. Minfilia simply had sent us on different tasks and we didn't meet until now! It's perfectly okay and possible to RP there to be other Warriors of Light. And last but not least, Primals return over and over, so it's also legit to claim to have fought them in different instances as someone else.

I'm usually too shy for these kinds of things, because I always have the impression I'm asking too much. So I'm going to write this with the expectation that nothing will happen, to make myself feel less bad :blush: For my RP FC: Donations to get us a large plot would be great. We're currently missing 28,900,000 gil to reach the 45M goal (for plot + permit). This could also be helped by showing me new ways to make money. Currently I'm doing most of our income by selling Ehcatl Sealant and HQ gear between lv21-30. For Blue: I'd really, really really love the Bluebird minion. For Jet'a: Garuda EX clearance. Ifrit EX clearance. Titan EX clearance A main tank to babysit my weak paladin through the Curtana Relic Reborn battles (chimera, hydra, HM trials) The Ultimate Ballade clearance Odin Trial clearance Labyrinth of the Ancients clearance Lots of first-time bonus tomes for yoo...!

Lore permitting, these are my two basic ideas: 1) Male Au Ra Dark Knight, he sides with the Dravanians, and hunts down Dragoons to kill the threat to the dragons. 2) Female Au Ra Astrologian (OOC class), a gambler, triple triad enthusiast and chocobo jockey. She lives and works at the Manderville Gold Saucer and seems to act like there's nothing out of that world of fun and entertainment!
