Daggerfall is the most popular amongst the RP community, followed by EP and AD is trailing far behind because people suck ass. I actually hung out with the TESO-RP community for a few months, but after ZoS said they were not going to do the RP questionaaire server at launch, there by killing all chances at random RP I literally stopped paying attention to the game >.> I'm just using my idea for my character that I made on there, on here now

Magdellan. I'm actually happy to see them put in gear checks with all this new content. There have been people playing this game for months and months, not to mention those who have been playing for years. If you add in content that is too easy to do, people will simply blast through it all and become bored and leave. You need not only to add new content, but more challenging and difficult content to keep a strong player base. If they started adding say, normal level 50 dungeons or level 15 dungeons. That leaves the hundreds of thousands of players with geared characters with not much to do. I don't consider myself an end-game players...honestly most of the MMO's I play I never reach end-game because I get bored too quickly, but I do definitely enjoy challenges. For those of us who do love challenges we have extreme modes and coils and all that fun jive. For those of us who take on a more easy approach there is gathering, crafting (which is about to get a much needed upgrade), roulette and dungeons (you can still get ilvl90 by just completing dungeons). I know its going to sound elitist when I say this and a lot are going to disagree with me, but i have always been of the mind that MMO's are not for everyone. They aren't for the people who enjoy sitting down maybe 3-4 hours a week and playing. They are for gaming enthusiast. I'm not saying that he needs to turn into a second job ala FFXI, but they are around for people who have more time to donate and can sit down and play a game for maybe 10+ hours a week. At least that is my take on it.

Every class is useful in its own way. The only thing you may run into some problems with is summoner. Not because they are bad or anything, but when you have DPS check areas like Turn 4, their DoT damage takes a bit too long to do its maximum damage. Even then, with a summoner in the party its fine, its just as long as you dont end up with 2 or more. As far as being "behind the curve". I have been playing since 1.0 and I just got ilvl90 on my first job a few days ago. Not to mention that I also just finished patch 2.1 story line literally yesterday, so you are fine ^^. I'm sure I can find us some good patient people to help teach you the ropes and look, its Monday. Coils are reset so its the perfect time to grab a learning party ^^. Honestly, my FC has two groups who run coils, one on Monday and the other Tuesday. The Monday one always needs some extra players, so come join us! We still need to teach people turn 4 in our Monday group anyway and no one would mind helping to teach you turns 1 and 2. 3 is just running and there isn't anything to learn. We are also setting up some EX primal runs and talks about trying to learn and beat turn 5 before they nerf it if you are interested in the more difficult stuff.

The Nightblades are still running a Garlean LS on the side. Things have quieted down quite a bit though as people left the game. I have a bandit character if you need them for any plots. Edit: Speaking of bandits. If anyone is interested I have a small bandit group idea. They won't really be evil or heroes, but just be looking out for themselves and their group. I was thinking of giving it very humble reasons for doing what they do. Sort of Robin Hood-esque, except it would be a rob from everyone type thing.

Just how high were you when you played the game? One word for you... /dancedrunk The worse done emote in the history of emotes I honestly think that they had an intern rush through their animations overnight. I don't think the character models are ugly, but they all pretty much look the same, face wise. The slider for the face doesn't change it enough.

Did someone say "The Repopulation" *ears perk up* I'm glad to see another backer ! As far as MMO prospects, there are a lot of them coming out in the near future, but really...they kind of stink. Wildstar is a Sci-fi Wow clone and I have not heard many positive things about it. Bless looks interesting, but to me it looks exactly like Tera. ESO is okay, but you have a small RP community, separated by 3 factions (no cross faction communication) and then split between two servers US and EU...so the RP community there won't last that long. Honestly...besides The Repopulation, I don't see any good RP contenders out there, or hell...not even any decent MMO's out there.

The only problem I see is that the heroes will win too easily because there are so very few Garlean characters that it would be easy to outnumber them. I mean we personally only have about 3 people willing to do play the Garlean side. That means that as long as at least 6 heroes join (and people have talked about entire linkshells) then the Garleans have no chance of actually getting the bomb together. You might have to offer some kind of handicap for the Garlean force to make things a bit more exciting and fair. I don't expect the Garleans to win, but a threat isn't a threat if you can stomp it out too easily.

Count me in. I have quite a few Garlean characters whom I am willing to throw at this.

People from a different continent? I smell an expansion pack! Also its not going to be Viera. Yoshi-P has said it himself, he is not okay with bunny men. I would like to see a whole new race myself.
