Is there something up with the wiki categories, or am I just missing something? If I click on Elezen or Wildwood Elezen category links, for example, my character Alberic isn't listed. Yet these categories are listed and linked at the bottom of his wiki. (Though I do see a note about "these categories will be updated after 2.0 is released" on some pages like Regions. >.> ) Is it just that these wiki pages are not being updated any longer or is there something wrong with my (admittedly copy and pasted) coding?

Kileit sums it up really well. Check people's search info in game too; often they will have something in there like "walk up welcome" so you know you can approach IC. I'm not one to stay IC constantly, so if I'm running through an area, more than likely I am OOC (perhaps on the way to a scene)(more recently, on my way to an event fate. lol >< ). Others are IC every moment of game and if their character is walking through a town they are present IC. (I'm real curious about the percentages of players who are IC all the time vs those that stance dance for lack of a better phrase. ) Way I see it, Balmung is like a big city, folks aren't going to just pause on their way somewhere to stop and chat for a time with strangers (unless they need something from a stranger). When you are new to a city, it is on you to get out there and meet people, be it at events that are relevant to your interests or through linkshells and your FC (which is a great way to start rping in public and making connections.)

Very active. I've been in the process of moving over the past week and therefore offline. There are 5 people with invite powers (I see Aghur found you ). 2 are IRL partners and may be out at the same time due to vacations and whathaveyou. Remember that each line of characters listed at the top of this thread is one person! What time zone or play times are you usually in game? I can see about finding another leader to cover that gap.

I may be looking to hire a voidsent hunter. Well, Valia is. lol. I'm currently moving and won't be in game for a handful of days (with luck) however. Let me know if you are looking for a one time story arc or an ongoing thing.

None of this sounds all that out there, tbh. My idea of "slice of life" includes things like murders, voidsent, insanity, etc. lol. (I like suspense & horror.) I only draw the line at "undefeatable" and "god-like powers" as well as true lore-breaking stuff like playing a character from another game or tv show. If most other's slice of life storytelling is just that they woke up in the morning, went to their job hawking wares in Ul'dah, then went home to sleep... I'm left with more questions as well... By superhero, do you mean you popped in from some Marvel/DC/etc realm and can do all sorts of flashy superhuman feats that would wow the public (or that you play as the WoL who you see as someone having comic book style abilities)? Or do you mean you're the kind of guy that goes charging in whenever you see criminals/the unfortunate and does all he can to stop the bad guys and save everyone? These are very different things. If you are from an alternate dimension, your best bet is to search for anyone who is ALSO from alternate dimensions. If you play as the WoL, same thing. If you just RP as this great do-gooder, well, that gives the vast majority of those who RP in this game a lot more to work with. But something in your post stuck out to me and it has nothing to do with you being a superhero of any type... it sounds more like you're inflexible when it comes to RP, unwilling to adapt to those you RP with. Like any socializing, RP is a two way street, each person needs to listen and respond to the other people and change a little to keep the conversation going. I'm not saying you have to give up your ideal story line, just maybe give things some more thought about how you can play this character so that you don't rub any more people the wrong way. ALL THE GRINDING! \o/ I'm also happy to see that you can get medals on both silver and gold FATE results. That will make things way easier. I'll have one character get everything for sure, but it will depend on just how much of a pain in the ass it is as to whether I'll go for more than just 1 or two weapons on my other characters. I'm in that LS. :moogle:(Kiliet is awesomesauce btw, y'all.) As soon as he mentioned feeling uncomfortable, my brain went to work thinking of ways to pull his character into RP without being overbearing (hopefully it worked ). If anyone mentions feeling some anxiety in initiating or joining RP, I will bend over backwards to help if I can! If y'all would like, feel free to get a message to me somehow (on the RPC, LS, tell, through a friend, or smoke signals) and I'll hang out with ya. I still remember my first ever walk up in this game. Someone was nearby and sent me a tell, "Are you in character and willing to rp?" I was panicked for a moment, then was all "Ye-yeah!" We call it a Tavern since it's the most used term for non-performance RP gathering, but the house is a hunt lodge that offers a variety of settings you can use (all rooms are available for public RP), such as a library, workshop, treasure room, and of course a bar (Room 3).
