BABIES!! :3

... I think, no, I'm pretty sure I make the dumbest and most childish threads around here. xD

But who cares?

If your character would have babies, how many would they have/like to have? Would the first baby be a boy or a girl? And how would your character deal with parenthood?

And if they already have kids, well, let's hear about them! :bouncy:

(Please excuse the poster of this thread. The poster has a notorious history of being childish and giddy and silly at times, and there is no cure for the aforementioned problems that plague the poster. It is highly advised that this behavior not be given too much attention, otherwise the consequences will be even more dire: More silliness and dumbness abound. Please proceed with caution. You have been warned.)

A'mon actually has a child......he thinks, almost positive, 90% positive.

But due to some happenings in his past, he neither has met, nor knows for sure if he does. He would welcome them, and would hope for a boy.

I think he'd do well with parenting, with a "doing is learning" policy with how they are raised. At a young age, teach him how to defend himself, how to fight, how to start fires, which snames are venomous etc.

I've considered having Frejyalen and her fiance have a baby, but they are a inter-race couple so..I'm not sure how that works lore-wise?

She'd be fine with either a boy or a girl, just think she'd make a good mom ICly.  =3c

I believe it was stated that children among inter-racial was possible, though it was looked down upon.

Jajara is honestly a bit squicked out by the thought of having children but if it were ever to happen, she'd probably want girls. One or two tops, though she would probably end up with three or four just because it's just a thing that happens in her family. Lots of siblings - a little posse of Dunesfolk gals to call her own!

Delial has none but she is getting to the point in her life where she...actually kind of wants at least one! But with the sort of work she does and the sort of crowd she hangs with, she doesn't really see her having much time in her life to sit and raise a child proper. Plus the whole pregnancy thing... bleck! Who needs to deal with that?! ... But she would definitely want a girl as well. Just the one.

Uh. Well.

T'rahnu is sterile. Completely infertile. No kids happening here, nope.

It's a good thing she also lives a lifestyle that is totally not healthy for raising kids, or this would beat her up more than it does. As it is? It just means she worries more about diseases than getting pregnant from sex.

Note that this does not preclude the possibility of her taking on an apprentice or adopting someone. That being said, if her little tribe were still around, I'm sure someone would love to be judgmental about her inability to breed. Not that that thought gives her any comfort.

Seno and Motoko are the only ones who have anything set down in regards to child-rearing. They will, eventually, have at least one daughter, thematically named Kagami (mirror) due to the fact that she has her mother's beauty, her father's attitude, and both their talent.

R'tahz and J'karu will probably have kids, because her player has commented on them having dozens of babies and I am frightfully unsure of whether or not she was joking....

Ganale and Sabine will probably have one or two, if those two boneheads can ever get together :dodgy:.

Really??  Do you have any links to that info, I'm interested in reading that because it could be useful to my RP and my character's future stuff  =Oc

Nebula already did, she had two adopted daughters from and then gave birth to twins that got as far as ~six months old in RP.

It was a new area of RP for me but I enjoyed it a lot. I liked to keep them in the background or for closed RP.

I don't have any links on-hand but from what I hear, the child supposedly takes traits from only one of the parents, but I'm fairly certain that when/if Sabine (miqo'te) and Ganale (hyur) have a kid, we'll ignore that little bit and have the kid have partial traits of both.

Oh man because like.. I can't help but be all...

LALAQO'TE.

Not gonna lie, if this was in the game I would absolutely have rolled as one.

The strengths of both rolled up into one mega-cute-cutey-cute super hybrid race? Yeah, I wouldn't stand a chance. Fantasia'd in an INSTANT.

Well Kurt would probably want 2 kids...maybe 3. No preference on gender either but I'm not sure if he's fit to be a dad. Why? Well whenever he's with the Vorgan daughter he's more like her older brother from another mother. Not really sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, I know for sure he'd be playing around with his kids, channeling his inner child at times >.> yeah...

An interesting question I've never considered. Asider from the obvious problem of her ignorance of love and so on, there are many factors to why this would be a poor choice, but were Virara to have a child, she/he would probably be a great Mage for various reasons. Her strength is not communicable so that's one dreadful hazard she avoids. I can see her being an aloof and cold parent who has much trouble communicating with her child, but looks out for them in all things, assuming she doesn't die in battle or something else happens to her first. In training her child, it's likely her methods would be so draconian as to seem cruel, like her own upbringing, so this woud be best left to her spouse. She possesses a deeply ingrained capacity for love, though it is hidden even from herself, so she could be a good mother, just a very flawed one. Her child would either grow to resent her or be overly dependent upon her.

Kestrael will steal all of your Lalaqo'te's! I can't help but imagine them as sort of like the Munchkin cats.

Kest would eventually like a family. At least two, preferably one of each. She has to find the right Roe guy though cause if she came home with a Highlander or a Miqo'te her mother would kill her. Dead. Then serve the widower a nice cup of coffee over her cooling corpse.

Ignoring the hurdles of her non-hetero sexuality and battlefield lifestyle, V'aleera would want to have a lot of children. Like, 6 to 10. Partly because growing up as a single child was lonely, and partly because Ishgard likely has a fairly high mortality rate for its fighting age kids and you really need to hedge your bets if you want to have any children left when you're in your old age.

Lili has three biological children: Khavan (20) is her oldest son, then the twins Sara and Deisara (18). Then two adopted: Adokenai (5 going on 6) and Mikh'a (almost 2).

They are her pride and joys and reasons for living <3

Her and Locke have talked about children, and we both squee over the idea of little blonde fluffy haired Rinananas running around @_@

Ophelie had a son, but he passed away after three months due to illness. She loved her son dearly and was quite devastated when he passed, at that point in her life he was the only thing that brought her joy. She would love to have another child but she's a courtesan and her situation isn't exactly stable enough to raise a child.

T'khai has at least two daughters, the eldest being less than a year old. He loves his girls and he spoiled them rotten by making them clothes, blankets an dolls in his spare time. He would go to the ends on the earth to make sure they were safe. Right now they're missing, along with one of his mates and he's still searching for them.
