I can't believe I missed this ARGH I am trash. Horrible, disgusting blushing. Awkward lala feelings are the best. I wish we got to RP more but.. yeah I am trash. Jajara might not be so willing to acknowledge them but she's had a few crushes in her time. For a while she had a weird thing about miqo'te but one thing led to another and she's settled on 'nope absolutely not' regarding them. Still fascinated by how sharp they are, though, all elbows and ears and tails. WEIRD. I like to think she still harbors a guilty crush for Memeli Meli, which is pretty unfortunate because Jajara herself is a bit on the homophobic side and doesn't know how to rationalize such feelings. There have been some extremely awkward feelings regarding her, that much she can't deny. Instead she'll just bury them away and never ever ever speak about them to anyone ever. If Delial has crushes, it's in the sense that she recognizes that there are people she actually genuinely likes enough that she doesn't want to drag them into the mess that is her life (or at least that is the excuse she usually gives). A'rytiss Edar was a sweet, innocent cinnamon bun too pure for the world. Itarliht started as this but that basically exploded and then exploded again. Gharen Wolfsong currently occupies this space, WOE UNTO YOU. Osric Melkire briefly occupied this place because honestly, handsome lookin' man with a sharp and fearless wit? MmmmHMM. Too bad he stopped wearing that mask though. Also he was... pretty much already in that mess of a world anyway so whatever. Honorable mentions to Chokho Viqqoh because hot dang she is a cutie patootie and a half, and Brynhilde Wulf because I like to think that if she and Delial ever sat down to have a chat that didn't involve chastising the other... m-maybe she'd notice her... (ﾉ∀`♥) The "would bang" list is considerably longer.

This is a really cute idea and I would love to see this be a thing.

Highlander... check. Punchfighter... check. Pretty cool on the forums... check! Almost all of my favorite things in one person. Bueno.

I am.... REALLY pretty horrible at carrying plots and arcs for many reasons so I try to leave it in the hands of the better capable. The kind of RP I do tends to vary between character to character. Jajara's really just an average Eorzean citizen: she's thought about putting some time out there adventuring but she's really most comfortable working in Limsa, doing Boring Citizen Things like delivering shipments or smelting ingots or whatever. She's usually my go to for casual, spur of the moment stuff - which is perfect because I don't always have the time to do anything more in depth anymore. Delial is the one who is in the deeper plots if only because it suits her character more. Most of those plots have a general outline of what might happen and what could happen though it does not always go that way. I am more comfortable with things being structured as such so that there is a coherent story with arcs and twists and all that, some of which do happen while things are being RPed. Also it helps because... yeah, Delial is a Not Very Nice Person and it is a bit harder to do Not Very Nice Things without those ideas and things being discussed with the others they might involve.

Jajara meeting Gus Pumpkinweed for the first time sticks out in my mind because it was the first time she met someone that turned (in her mind) so very hostile towards her within a few minutes of saying hello. I enjoyed it, though, the shock of it. Jajara is an enormous socially inept carebear and she didn't really know what to do. They made up since then and were even talking about business ventures before RL stuff decided to severely limit my RP availability.

Chuchukepa linked this to me ages ago and I still think it is absolutely perfect for those horrible, disgusting popotoes. Lately Delial has been sort of drifting through some odd states of mind regarding relationships. And of course...

Jajara really likes Farmville for some reason and won't stop inviting all her friends to play with her. Every now and again she might show up tagged in somebody else's photo but she doesn't seem to post much about herself. She's the type of person who isn't too ashamed to post tacky thrown-together-in-photoshop pictures of horrifyingly sappy things. Happy faces and hearts and bad poetry, all tagged for Chuchukepa. GROSS. Delial hardly ever posts anything but when she does, it's passive aggressive as heck. Can't stop talking smack about "these idiot people" and about how "it's a surprise that they don't swallow their own tongues." Now and again she'll do the selfie with a colorful drink thing and then go silent for weeks.

Jajara I'm ... not really sure about. She's a potato and I didn't really have anyone in mind when I made her. I didn't have anyone in mind when I made Delial, either, but a while ago I decided I wanted to sit and look at gorgeous people for a while and see what stuck. Face claims are hard, yo. I think if Delial were an actual person she might look something like a mix between Brenda Costa and Emanuela De Paula. Strong facial features are what I wanted to exaggerate: jaw and chin and nose, as well as sharp brow lines.

Jajara wants to be ... ... but she's probably more like... Delial has bits and pieces of a few lovely ladies.

I'm pretty trash at games and I have made the mistake of falling in love with Monster Hunter. I love the monsters but they don't love me. Always trampling me when I'm trying to honk out a song or something, or when I'm trying to chug a potion. I'm not a threat, I promise!!!!

Bold/repost because that's basically my stance right there, and that is how I play my Not-Quite-Villain. Likewise, characters who fall into the "hero in my own story, villain in another's" is 100% my aesthetic.

I hand wave A LOT of things. I've never fought a soul in my life and goodness knows I would probably kill myself trying to smelt metals. I'm also incredibly bad at studying things. Tried to do some research into tarot and haruspicy once but it all just kind of flew over my head.

I like to think Jajara would be earth-aspected. Her home was in the desert, she makes her living off of hitting rocks and making things out of shinier rocks, she's tough as a boulder and about as stubborn on the worst of days. She is usually pretty calm and even-tempered and has a habit of being walked all over, but when she does actually snap at folks, it isn't very pretty! Her patron, Byregot, is Lightning so that doesn't quite match up either on aspect or resistance. Delial is probably either fire or lightning. Fire would be more in line with her ancestry and her magical potential, as well as her temperament... however lightning seems more appealing sometimes if only because she sees herself as a judicator of sorts. Her presence is generally more obscure and her strikes, when she makes them, precise and unforgiving. Rhalgr happens to also be lightning aspected so there's that.

Jajara would drop: - A brilliant perfectly cut and polished fire opal set in a gold base, clearly meant to be worn on the forehead as Dunesfolk might do. Lalafell only. (STR, DET, VIT) - An expertly crafted rose gold ring. - A large sack of gil. - A well used but well cared for hammer. (GSM/BSM/ARM only. Craftsmanship and Control.) - One random piece of HQ craftsman AF gear. Just falls out of her pockets. - Rare Drop: Adamantoise ornament housing decoration. It's not as fancy as the one the Sultana is rumored to have. Delial would drop: - An expertly sharpened dagger of simple silver design. Seems to be mostly ceremonial and not very practical for actual rigorous combat. - A silver ring. The engraved design is faded, but it vaguely resembles either fire, or wings. - An empty bottle of wine. - Heeled leather thighboots. Hyur/Roegadyn only. (Crit, DET) - Anywhere from one to three trashy romance novel(s). - Rare Drop: /heartbreaker emote. Smirk like a lady who destroys people for fun.

If I decide to race change or roll anything new at all, probs going straight to male Au Ra. As it stands I don't have a reason to abandon either of the two best races (lala and highlander) nor the will power to pick up another alt.
