Ashe would have to be Acceptance...as in accepting his past and his hatred and moving on...I think he is also about Redemption as he has mostly moved on from his past and is trying to make things better for himself and everyone (sorta)...he's still a dick about it though. Zeph would have to be Duty...Zeph is a bit weird because he feels like it's his duty to fill in gaps where others have failed him in life. ....Kasumi I have no idea yet.

Gilgamesh and Balmung are in the same unopen spot unless you transfer... It sucks, but they are the biggest servers in the game. As for what makes it funs, depends on what you want. Do you want RP? (Which is what the RPC is for so I am assuming that's part of it). Do you want hard core raiding? Overall, it's a fun game. The story (for me) is the most fun! Go for it? haha I know someone who went through a ton of steps to be able to summon Titan Egi ICly. Go ICly kill a primal and then go digging through Allagan ruins. In the current history of Eorzea, that's prolly the easiest way to do it. Carbuncles you get through the guild with a stone....thing. I don't on Ashe or Zeph but on Kasumi I use ugly duckling 'cause it's her weird-ass friend.... ICly Ashe gave a minion as a present so that the dude could have it as a pet....

Hrmmmmm Sharlayan (is there no n at the end of it in the english version of the game?) was a city of scholars and probably the most knowledgable group of people about Allag and aether. It seems like it was a pretty exclusive society...and it wouldn't have a peasant population as it was literally all scholars and scholar families? I could be wrong with my assumption about that though >> Thancred is the only one from Sharlayan that I can think of with a sketchy background and he was a Limsan rogue first...not a rogue in Sharlayan. I COULD BE WRONG THOUGH!!!! But that's what I think...

What Nefzen said. If there's something in recent history that you'd like to know to help shape your character, by all means ask away. ICly it's normal to have some idea of basic events... Like..."Once upon a time, there was the Allagan empire." But it'd be weird if your character was pulling out exact dates unless they were a historian on such things so don't sweat the small details. A lot of people lore bend too. My character reverse engineers and restores Allagan tech...OOCly I am not 100% sure how this stuff works but I make educated guesses based on what I know. Could someone else do it differently? Sure, why not. There's plenty of room to fill in some of the gaps yourself. Some things to note would be class lore details...certain in-game jobs and classes have specific origins but I think the links above cover a lot of that stuff. There are TONS of threads about the mage jobs here...and the other jobs. But if something from the general links catches your interest and you want to know more, feel free to ask!

If it's a populated area where there is a lot of RP, it's usually an open invitation. If it's not a populated area where RP doesn't happen normally, I prefer a tell. Some people don't send tells. Honestly if it's the latter situation I may ignore someone who joins in without asking. If it is a populated area (where I rarely RP mind you) I won't ignore. In general, I would prefer a tell.... It's up to you though. I SHOULD CLARIFY If it's me, I wouldn't approach at all because I am an awkward weirdo who is afraid of people >> That being said, if I didn't have that problem, I would send a tell because I'd be too scared to just butt in >>

Hahaha In Japan alone on the biggest date day of the year. I was a little intimidated by you at first, but I wouldn't call you stand-offish. And I think Asheloux is a delight. Characters who act unexpectedly keep RP fresh and entertaining. It's so unfair when people judge you (general you) by your character. I sometimes wonder how other RPers see me when they only know me as Solenne. She's reckless, snobbish, privileged, slightly diabolical, and very used to being the queen bee, while I'm this little mouse of a person who spends most of her free time hiding at home because people are scary. That's not to say Solenne doesn't have a lot of good qualities, but they aren't always what people see first. I just hope that doesn't end up reflecting too poorly on me. On a completely unrelated note, I'm now slightly paranoid because one of my characters recently got OOCly rejected by someone whose character was romantically interested in her. His reason? He found out that I don't ERP. Now, I don't have anything against ERP - I want to make that perfectly clear. I just avoid it for personal reasons. But now I'm wondering, do I not write interesting characters? Are they not complex enough, not dynamic enough, to be worth pursuing for their own sake? Ugh... this is why romantic RP is such a minefield, and why I usually don't actively pursue it. You'd be surprised how nervous I am RPing with people for the first time in general. I was really scared the first time I RP'd with you and Isa 'cause I'm like....trying to include everyone but don't want people to be turned off by Ashe so afraid to interact with them? I think this is the problem I have with Sah and Aiden too...I'm so afraid that I will do something wrong that doing it at all makes me super nervous. IRL I am quiet and not really super outgoing or anything which is weird when I am in a leadership position in an FC. I think people expect me to be super confident and sure of everything I choose for the FC but then in my head I'm all...am I bringing everyone down? or something >.< URGH FEELINGS MAN. Ask Orrin what it was like when I was first setting stuff up with him...I would apologize for EVERYTHING haha.
