1. Like sickety said, you need to actively be searching for RP as oppose to sitting around. There are events almost every day that are open and attending them will be your best foot forward. It will show you want to find those RP partners and be apart of the world. Attend and familiarize with the people.
2. (artwork done by Kura-ou. So much work that i truly feel unworthy to own this. I'd submit it to gallery but shrinking this file would be an atrocity) My dear daughter If you have found this journal, then it means a few things. It means that I am no longer apart of the realm, that you are living and you have done much research to find this little book. You will not find any spells, nor recipes, or even a story but rather the harsh truth i left in this tome. As i write this, the Void slowly consumes my thoughts and plagues my sanity. In time i will no longer be your mother but a monstrosity. So...In these last pages, I will tell you the truth. Your name is Alyx. You are my child. And i am the worst mother in existence... From the moment i knew i was pregnant with you, I was ecstatic. A child left by Varthamith before he passed on. I was happy...but then when you were brought into the world, and not two minutes after you took your first breath did you take your last. Your body was frail. It wouldn’t take in nutrients...and I was stricken with guilt and despair. Your soul was stored in a Sprite Core that had laid dormant in my collection. My initial plans were to make lifelike dolls as an alternative to golems but your death made me change my plans. I sought to make the perfect body for you. And you were Doll Number Four Zero one. A Soulkin. By this point you might of found out about your Au Ra shell. That is because the Elezen body intended for you was incompatible. When you were alive to see the body, it was struggling to stay intact. The only way to save you from death again was to give you the Au Ra shell. Their body structure and scales made it easier to keep yourself intact compared to the rest, but that required to modify your Sprite Core...and your horns were additions. I am sure you are wondering why i gave myself unto the Void… That is because my despair drew me into their offers. To create discord and chaos among the realm. To share and revel in the conflicts for years..and i was foolish. I regret my choices… But it’s too late for me. Do not make the same mistakes I have, my Alyx...or whatever you call yourself now. The final answer is the Heart. That was a gift I made that requires the power of your emotions to turn on. As time goes on, you may find friends, family and one to call a special someone. You may be angry, sad, happy and so on...and that will eventually allow you to know of emotions. Had i put it inside you from the start, you would of surely broke in half. So for now, the heart is inside a Blue Tomestone. Only when it radiates with a warm glow can you put it inside yourself and be closer to a mortal than before. Just remember… I always loved you. I wanted what was best. I wanted you to have a second chance… And because of that I am the most horrible mother to of ever been created. Do not forgive me, my child...but please acknowledge that I was your real mother. I love you. I love you I love you I love you My Alyx, I always will love you. Xyla Quintessence. No mother. You are not the worst. For so long I'd wanted to understand why I was made, why i live. I wanted to understand you more and more...but this journal you left me brought everything together. The Au Ra Shell, My lack of understanding emotions, And why I am far different from the other four hundred other creations. You spent your entire life trying to give me a second chance, to make me live. To give me what Hydaelyn took, and in exchange it cost you your own life in the end. I do not hate you. I can't hate you. From my creation, you gifted me this new life. To carry on what would of been my true end. Your actions are not so black and white as others see. The grey line that you and now I tread is the same for all. For so many years, You worked and failed four hundred times over just to make me. I am your Magnum Opus in Alchemy, The Fifth Element, And i am your Eldest Daughter. There is so much i want to tell you... I made friends, though some still judge me. I met my beloved Keiichi, whom makes me truly happy. You also have four new daughters... Igni, Forta, Gaia, Wati. They want to meet the real you. Not the insane monster you became. They miss you. We miss you I Miss You, Mother... So Thank you. Thank you for giving me this second chance. thank you for gifting me life. Thank You, My Mother. For all the atrocities you committed later in your life, It will never deter me from who you really were... The Black Witch of the Shroud who wanted to help people... So, I will do what it takes and continue that tradition. I will help as many people as I can from now on. For I am your Legacy. -Alyx Quintessence, Daughter of Xyla Quintessence-
3. this sounds like an idea i shared with others on the Discord channel only instead it was more restricted with 8/16 roster and a slight alteration to the rules. beat me to it
4. i wish i could travel to vegas but alas i have to settle for stream
5. So i thought about this in the morning (Yeah i got up early enough for breakfast for once) and while making toast...I got to thinking... What sort of appliances could exist in the universe with the technology and limitations? I don't think I ever read if there was a 'toaster' device aside from ovens so a head cannon creation i thought of: A Toaster would be Ironwork made, fueled by super heating iron with Fire Crystals through a mechanism that 'sparks' them to work and designed like this: The shards have to be changed every couple of uses since it will deplete each time. Reason for the heating plate is that it helps regulate the temperature so it doesn't get overly hot. Through we may have to reinforce the Exterior to not burn people by accident Or maybe an elaborate 'Microwave' (I call it the Re-heater!) but instead of Radiowaves, it's heating method is an experimental Ceruleum battery. Meant to reheat food without the waiting time of preparing an oven beforehand. Or how about Magiteck powered blenders! Made from Mythril Blades, Built in chilling unit (requires 5 ice shards per use) and a strong casing that even rocks cannot break! (Warning: Do not actually put rocks or Coblyns in) Share your thoughts and crazy ideas :3
6. Arala Makeo: ....uhh...everything? (optimistic, willing to try new things.) P'rita Kali: Rice (Basic and simple) Pickled plums (a hidden treat under her cold front) Alyx Quintessence: Wati Quintessence: Tuna (Savory even on the eyes) Puffer fish (Has a potent poison if treated poorly) Igni Quintessence: Steak (Tough and strong) Coconut (is forgetful at times) Gaia Quintessence: Legums (down to earth) Beets (a natural sweetie) Forta Quintessence: Believe me, I tried getting her favorite food and... Strawberry Shortcake (An unexpected sweet) Rollo: Strawberries (loving devotion to his owner) Geppetto: Popotos (you explain how a mammet is facinated over Popotos...)
7. And yet despite the great trailer and the content lied before it, I still will feel like I can't accomplish anything to get those things casually playing it one day at a time. I just hope that I can at least get through the new trials and the Alexander raid at least once on Arala to see it. But knowing my luck, I will need to grind gear as well. Still, I cannot wait for the feature. Though Apartments will be clogged day one D: Wish SE restricted owning Apartments to One per account and somehow make it a shared spaced for all your characters.
8. It's like SE is finally attempting to do something right and ACTUALLY EXPLAIN THINGS before the game starts. Between the movie and brotherhood, I would buy the game on release.. If I had a PS4
9. is it wrong that i kind of wished the armor was first place instead of say the music scrolls. I get the music is rare and expensive but...wouldn't it be more second place in that case considering the Allag Replica armor is like a full set of armor? Or am I just stupid?
10. I wish the appartment system is account bound and not character. The amount of alts people own is insane and having homes for said alts will take up space... I really am slowly starting to hate FF14 More and more as a game.
11. (i don't know a good place for this) I was thinking of starting something for a few Doman based players. A Blade Dance group to perform at varous locations of allowed. Things will change since its a rough idea. Any feedback or support helps. The starting background: "Blade Dancing is a time honored form of entertainment and skill in the eastern lands. After being drive, from their homes, a few individuals seek to rebuild their once lost love of both combat and dance. Whether they hailed from the farmlands or the capital, the mix of clans should prove to be a sight to behold." Some basic rules: 1: must be a native Doman ICly. No exceptions. 2: Blade Dances are not restricted to the usual formula of melee combat. All kinds of fighting and spells are with it. 3: Music can be from any source so long as it is orchestrated. You are fighting with music. The intent of this linkshell dance group is to also bring domans together for their own RP. Drama could happen between performers or some new love could rise up. Frendships and rivalries can form. There could also be more than one in charge of the group or one depending how many we get. It may not work but this is why it's open for discussion. I would like to know what people would think of such a group? Tell me how neat or stupid it is. I ain't afraid of no critic!
12. I can't find a good clip of it myself but... Quint is voiced by Dorothy R. Wayneright. Right down to her monotone delivery. All and any clips i find do not do her voice justice unless it's a full episode. Well i guess to be more accurate, Lia Sargent the VA
13. ...Wait is this a real question? not to sound like the asshole but you are basically asking this: "Is the lore of a completely unrelated game cannon to Final Fantasy?" The events with crossovers are not in lore. They are made for fun or to celebrate something. Everything in these events, even the ff13 lightning and the ff11 ones were never really cannon. they were fun side tracks to the daily events of the game's world. So no, they are not cannon. Plus to be fair if you want to say if the 'Youkai' themselves (as in the actual ones not the Yo-kai watch variant or Touhou project ones) are real, i would say maybe for Domans but in Eorzea they would be called something else. Youkai are basically Japanese myths and spirits in the same way we have Big Foot or the Loch Ness Monster or event he Chuppacabara (I probably ruined that spelling)
14. Most of my issue comes from having multiple characters. I don't mean 2 or 4 but 9! And 4 are NPC characters! Trying to maintain and update them all is a hassle. Especially when characters who don't have a wiki have to he added. More problems is debating who makes it on the relationship list. I sort of solved it by only adding most influential people.
15. I'm trying to get more word out there as my last manga ended. This one will be different and focus on something more down to earth. While it helps to read the (slightly cringy) written works to understand the characters here, The short of it was gathered on the cover's description section. http://parth-makeo.deviantart.com/gallery/58584763/Gungear-EMA-Commander-s-Orders I do not ask for likes, comments or anything. I merely wish to get more of the word out and shared among others. I may not be an artist but I do what i can to write and I think i got the hang of lettering now. Thank you ahead of time for sharing and possibly showing interest in it. I rarely get words of encouragement because i am not the artist
16. A year has passed since Doll 401 broke off from Xyla and the rest. A lot has happened. She found friends, enemies and someone she loved. She understood emotions, learned of customs and to be normal. Her body may never age and she can't die through natural means, but even so she still continues on... But her current dilemma stems from her inability to produce children... --- Quint had finished looking over the archives in the company home. Transporting the books she sent to the Library in the north for extra safe keeping. She turned around and decided to imitate the act of 'relaxing'. Her light as air body collided with the bed in the back room. Accompanied by her black kitten that followed her. Meowing and mewing as he curled up beside Quint. For a moment, she gazed onto the kitten, gently caressing his head and ears. She of course couldn't feel his fur through the gloved hand, preventing anyone from feeling her icy touch. Quint thought back a bit and remembered what she saw. The people she knew having 'children'. Creating Life. The joy of having a smaller 'you' and raising them. She's seen the results. The joy they felt. The wonder of it all. For a moment, her hand consciously lingered to her stomach. Unknowingly stroking it gently. Her mind wandered. "...I cannot give Keiichi a Child." she quietly whispered. Small hints of tears dripping from her eyes and down her expressionless face. Deep down she wished for a chance. A moment to produce a child bore out of love. Yet even that was too far from her fantasy. Rollo gently licked Quint's cheek. The only place on her body she could feel anything. He meowed, wanting her to stop crying. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. "Rollo. I am sorry to worry you." her voice still as monotone as ever, but Rollo knew she was in pain. The body motions said it all. ---- The following day, Quint decided to walk around Ul'dah. Last night was hard to keep her tears down when sleeping with Keiichi. Unlike him, she couldn't sleep like normal beings. She can act it but never can she truly fade in a slumber. She didn't mind. So long as she spent every moment with Keiichi- "Mama! I want that one!" A young child's voice. Quint turned to eye an Elezen mother escorting her child. No bigger than one hundred thirty eight Centimeters. Hands held so closely to prevent their separation. Something about it...sent a sharp pain through Quint's horn. Like a part of her past came back. Her creator intended Quint to be an Eelzen made in her image, but weakness dictated an Au Ra shell instead. This pain she felt had to evade the eyes of the populace. She stumbled off to the side, gently stroking her horn. the pain slowly faded. How she described it to herself...it was like arrows slowly scratched the edges of her grooves. Intending to give further pain and torture. Quint looked around once more to see if anyone caught wind of her odd actions. No one did. With a boost, she returned to her stroll. Her mind surging with ideas and thoughts. She thought it was unfair. Unfair to her and Keiichi. Then...she stopped. Noticing a familiar sight. A Miqo'te woman, battered and ridden with scars on her entire body. Her fur and skin as black as the night sky aside from two emerald spheres and paint that made her stick out. Wearing all green and seemingly on her own walk. "P'rita." Quint called her name out but the opposite came through her. "You. I told you to never call me by that name." P'rita spat out, starting to walk away just as she heard Quint call out. "You cannot produce children as well, right?" ---- Reluctantly, Quint and P'rita went to the Airstrip to enjoy a light meal and chat. The tea served was fairly warm for P'rita as she took a sip. Her posture clearly more reserved than most Domans despite her background. She then broke the ice. "You are asking me how I deal with being Infertile i take it?" P'rita asked. "Yes. I am due to perform the Bonding Ceremony with Keiichi. My love for him is genuine as is my intent...but the one thing I can never give him is a child." Quint replied back. She gently brushed away some of her black hair from her forehead and adjusted her glasses. P'rita took a moment of pause before calmly telling the doll.... "You have friends, a lover, people who will defend you...and all you are concerned about is something as selfish as a child?" she scoffed at Quint. Her eyes a piercing gaze like lances aiming to sever a Wyrm's head. Quint didn't back down. "Is it selfish to wish for a future heir? One which was created out of love from both the husband and wife? Is it bad that I wish to experience this sensation?" P'rita's hand shook in slight rage. Her anger starting to show. "It is not, but you are too focused on the future." and her rage calmed down. Her mind coming to a lull. she brought the cup to her lips, sipping the tea once more before talking again. "Your sisters though...Aren't they organic?" Quint suddenly straightened up. Fear in her eyes? No...shock. "If you want to have a child, just ask one of your sisters to be a surrogate mother. Wati seems the most qualified-" then, like a swift strike of a blade. P'rita's tea was knocked aside, crashing to the ground. The few patrons eyeing the two as Quint stood before P'rita. Looking ready to harm her. "My sisters would NEVER AGREE to such a thing! If someone else took Keiichi's seed, it would not be my child!" Quint shouted and for once...showed anger in her eyes. Delivering a glare equal to what P'rita had earlier. Yet P'rita didn't waver. Her expression continued to keep it down. "It's not like he would cheat on you...and he doesn't have to have sex with them. Just get some of his seed an-" P'rita was hoisted up by the collar. Where did this doll get that kind of strength! Her feet left the ground as the Au Ra doll raised her high. "NEVER EVER TALK ABOUT MY SISTERS LIKE THEY ARE INCUBATORS!" rage and pain filled her eyes slowly. Her lips formed out to show her teeth. Gritting in anger. Now this was a shock to P'rita. She raised a brow and realized how much that Quint was protective of her sisters... "What else are you going to do if you want a child? Make one like your insane bitch of a 'mother'?" P'rita continued prodding the Behemoth. Quint however, froze and placed P'rita back in her chair, her anger slowly fading back before she fell to her knees. Processing what options she had. P'rita on the other hand was worried about something else. "...That was some good tea too..." Eventually, P'rita gave her some words to try and ease her suffering. "I too acted in a similar way when my ovaries were pierced and damaged in combat training..." she said, easing a hand over her own stomach. "The news that I can never bring a child into this world. It tore me asunder. Ruined my plans...made me feel weak...but-" she then placed a hand on Quint's head, caressing her hair and soothing her in her time of need. "When I think about it...Everyone younger than me is my child. You are like a tree that continues to grow and expand. While we, the mortals are like delicate flowers. We are numerous under your branches, colorful and varied. We bloom, blossom, breed and die...making more as each generation passes...Some of us see our children become what they want. Others follow our footsteps. Some are unlucky and die early. Others are unfortunate and lose their parents before their potential comes forth. You focus so much on the future that you are missing on the here and now. Who cares if you cannot make a child? There will be plenty of young ones for you to educate, lecture and teach that their parents may not be able to..." Quint looked up, seeing a different side of P'rita. A more somber, motherly look in her eyes. For the moment, she swear she was seeing Xyla...her creator. And an honest look. "You worry so much about having a child that you never realized you had one this whole time...." Then it hit Quint. Xanadu! An Au Ra mage she decided to teach in her way to enhance her Magical Arts. In some way, Quint is like her mother...and she is always looking out to make her a better person. ---- As the sun was setting, Quint waved off P'rita from the landing, seeing her take off to Limsa. Even if it was for a few minutes, it was the only time the two of them were ever going to be 'friends'...but with this knowledge given to her, Quint realized something. "I may not age like the others...I may not die through natural means...I may not be able to create a child in our likeness...But what I can do is teach and educate as many as possible to help shape their bright futures. Even the flowers not of my seed deserve some protection. And my branches will do just that."
17. I can see if I can squeeze in Xyla to attend. Oh the stories she can tell.
18. I seem to have no interest in this event like previous ones. Maybe it's because it's a promotion for Yo-Kai watch that was talked about for a month in the us and then forgotten. Maybe it's because the weapons and mount along with the pets are unappealing to me personally... Or maybe I was not into the Yo-Kao watch hype after playing the demo....what a let down for combat. The event itself and the grind is fine but the rewards feel so lackluster. Even the mount is sort of meh. Silly but meh. I'll be skipping on this event though. First one I am skipping in my MMO playtime
19. The Elezens started walking away as one refereed to Julienoix "It shall be made in time." then took off. Leaving to do their job as Quint was in the room. "I am indeed Quint. The Tower is more or less a strange thing to behold from a distance." she mentioned as the word about the sealed room resonated with her horns. "Xyla. Her personal quarters is sealed behind some kind of seal. I sadly cannot undo it. Any of you are welcome to break the seal if you wish. No telling what is in there though." she made her way around and looked among the group. making sure everything was in order. As they talked, one Elezen had to bring over a ladder to climb up and grab a scroll in one of the boxes on top of the shelves. From that scroll, she peered at it before taking it down. She handed it to Quint to view as if to confirm if it is right. "Turning Heaven's Wheel...This is the scroll. Thank you." she turned to Simeon. "In the time it takes them to make copies, I can easily do it in half. Besides, we have plenty made." offering it to him without any care. "It's one of Xyla's favorites." Just after, Quint looked to the library once more. "If we are done here, I would like to remind the captains about the deal...Half of the books here will be donated and divided." but upon hearing that, the Elezen seemed a tad shocked. "But Quint. This place is the ultimate accumulation of one person's quest-" she stopped as the Curator made itself present for them. Quint continued on. "Negotiations are hard as is. This is the best way to ensure they don't destroy our home." and then looking to the Curator... "Curator. I entrust you with aiding the transportation of their books." to which it raised an arm up to notify it's confirmation. "Acknowledge. Disabling Defense Systems. Enabling Cautionary Counter Measures." Quint finally sighed. "I am terribly sorry. We should cut our time short here and head off. If the sealed room is Xyla's personal quarters then..." she faded her voice, already lost in her own thought processing.
20. The book that talked about the Sixth Astral Era and ended right after the defeat of Ala Mhigan. It was a typical book... The Elezen helping them seemed content with answering questions to them. With the influx, one would think it is needless stress but they were 'trained' for such mass questions. "Taking tomes is prohibited in your time here. Copies can be made at your request but depending on the length, it can take anywhere from a couple hours to a year or two. We do apologize for any inconveniences but original copies stay here." she bowed and turned to the next question. "History regarding Gelmorra and Bella'dia are more likely to be held in the Great Gubal Library. Even our creator can have missing books. As for Allag..." she went quiet for a moment before a second came around to help her. The two looked so identical that it was impossible to distinguish the two. "All Allag information has been stored on Tomestones and as such are prohibited from public eyes. You will need Special Permission from Doll Four Zero One in order to even see what they hold. Granted..." The first one then finished. "Most of the Allag Tomestones on file are mere journal entries that were salvaged from old sites and laboratories. We have deemed them worthless in terms of actual information but for the sake of understanding their way of life, they were put into storage." And just as she finished, the question about the history of the tower soon rallied a group of the Elezen organizers to the location once more. "...All information and history regarding the tower are sealed behind Xyla's Personal Quarters in the main hall. Any journal entries laying around have been taken by Doll Four Zero One for her own personal reason. If you seek any history regarding the tower and those who once took refuge here, you should try to Unseal her door." And shortly after explaining, Quint finally joined the group from her work securing the main hall. she looked to the Elezens who bowed their head in respect. "Welcome back, Doll Zero Four One. The Curator, Doll Zero Zero One is active again as request." Quint then raised her hand for a moment. "Call me Quint, Please." then she turned to the group. "I hope this place is not too confusing for you yet. The companies decided to infiltrate the lab to see if anything was left." she examined the group, eyeing the books they had as a mental smile formed in her mind. "So. Shall we continue looking around?" Perhaps mentioning what that sealed room could hold may lead the way into understanding the tower's history...
21. The Elezen turned to look at Simeon. "Songs of Old? One moment..." and then she just stopped. Her eyes vacant and staring off in one direction. Her mind seemed possessed but after a while she moved again. "Your request to find Songs of Old. Record of Musical sheets and compositions have been collected among the North Wall. Sadly due to unforeseen accidents, any music made before the Six Umbral Era have been lost to what is recorded as 'The Great Flood'. If you were looking for instructions how to play Music, please seek a proper minstrel for lessons. However, you are free to look at the tomes that talk about the instruments in more detail, upkeep and so on." The elezen then returned to picking her books up nice and gently but then she straightened her posture as if remembering something. "My Mistake...One of the others has confirmed that there is ONE song that dates back to the Fifth Astral Era. Shortly before the War of the Magi. Created by Xyla Quintessence. She called it 'Turning Heaven's Wheel'. It requires...Five Instrument and one Vocalist. Female. Would you like a copy? Copying process takes upwards of three hours to complete down the last detail." The Elezen bowed politely as if wishing to be forgiven for a mistake and error. ---- A sudden noise echoed like gears and steam. Coming from the West Section. The sound of loud metal hitting marble announced the arrival of something that was sleeping...And just before the group, a large Dullard inspired device barely poked it's head out above the bookshelf tops. It passed by the group without noticing them with it's destination to the East Section of the library. The same Elezen that was asked decided to announce to them: "Do not worry about The Curator. So long as you do not damage or harm the tomes, it sees no reason to enforce punishment and death."
22. With their words echoing through the halls, it seemed to bring their heads out for a moment. Eyeing them from anywhere they could from safety. Each one had no difference. They all looked so alike. Yet after a long silence, one of them finally spoke from somewhere. "The Ever-Expanding Library is a safe haven for the knowledge left behind by the late Xyla Quintessence. To explore the sea of paper and stone is to find what should not be unearthed. You are permitted under the current owner, Doll Number Four Zero One...but we will only warn you once." Soon enough the small group of Elezens emerged from various areas again in a cautionary stance. Keeping an eye on the group as if unable to trust them. "You are not allowed to touch any Tomestones. Now then...The Library's organization starts from the letter A to the Letter Z and from there, the Number Zero to Nine. Exceptions of organization are books, tomes, scrolls and so on starting with the word A or The. In which case it is ignored in favor of the second word for proper organization. The sections of the library are as follow...Northern wall and area is Tradeskills, crafts and entertainment. South, which we are at, is history and myths. East is the spells, hexes, remedies and Aetherial context works. West houses the 'Curator's' station and casual reading. Like Fantasy novels or books unable to be categorized." The way she spoke sounded more and more like the Au ra from earlier. Yet they were not like her at all. They felt more like Mammets with more human like features. Those that had dropped their work resumed their duty in re-organizing the books and locations. --- With the information, it is clear that whomever owned this library was more than willing to keep things in proper order. The group can advance further and head to the North, East or West or stay in the South block and learn on some history. From the corner of their eyes, a stack of books were left before a shelf with the top book title being 'Anatomy and Workings of Aetherial Beings'. Another tome by one of the staircases is titled 'Sixth Astral Era: Years 1~1470' And as it so happens, one of the Elezen women were busy taking out some books, replacing and re-organizing them. Perhaps Asking For Information may help as well?
23. With both doors opened carefully, an influx of smells came forth. Paper, glue, ink. If it wasn't the normal smell of a library, then who knows what? The Library itself is by no means anywhere close to the Great Gubal Library, but the fact that the ceiling was indeed expansive and high up left for a lot of the walls to be stacked with books. Individual cylinder towers also held said books with some requiring narrow pathways to reach the upper levels. If the walls were not covered then spaces were. Even what would be flat stone for staircases were also small nooks for the tomes to rest inside. It wasn't so much a maze as it was a 'jungle' to explore of knowledge. Though some are known, there were a few selected few that not many may lay their eyes on. But it wasn't all silent. Among the books roamed some Elezen women. Black hair, white complexion and looking fairly busy..and they all look identical. Some were moving stacks of books. Others only a few. Some were just busy inspecting and double checking. A library this size did look to benefit from more bodies. Before the group from the entrance, small odd stains trailed on the floor. It had since been dried but the odd coloration could point to the use of some kind of chemicals. The trail itself led to a corner of the Library that had some more space. --- Just as they enter, one of the odd Elezens noticed the group and fled. hiding among the shelves. Leaving the books on the floor. Were they shy? Scared? Or perhaps plotting something?

Among them, an Au Ra woman of dark features and wearing Ironwork armor was among them. With a specially made piece of eyewear, she was hard at work creating a safe location in the hub. She was in charge for the time with keeping things in check while a team explored on ahead. Her name is Quint. "I will help maintain the central hall. Feel free to explore if you wish...but beware. There may be a few straggling entities I have yet to purge myself. No telling what was left behind..." she spoke in a monotone and slight artificial way. The options before them were laid before the small group. It was up to them to decide where to check first...but the energies emanating from the spiral staircase in the center was foreboding and chilling. Quint's Recommendation: "It's too early to check the throne room above. Try the Library or the Laboratory-that is if you can resist the smell."
