So, things were starting off great this morning. Had a two hour delay because of the weather. I love sleeping in. Buuuut... I got out to my car to leave and it won't start. Lots of clicking noises, but no engine turning over. And it's weird, because my husband used the remote start before he left for work to help defrost my window. The automatic start will run for 10 minutes and then turn off, so I'm not sure what happened between then and when I left for work. It's just frustrating. Oi.

I do understand that. However, with the way that the conversation has devolved in the past two pages, it looks like the 'conversation' itself is doing that enough as it is. Also, I'd rather inform people that there's the potential for locking before I do it. I'd like to give people the opportunity to change their tone. People need to stop calling each other names, take a step back, and leave this thread alone for a while, IMHO. No good is going to come of people getting into heated debate over a topic like this. Mind you the heated part. Debate is all fine and dandy, as long as we're not calling each other names and such. I'm just gonna watch this for a bit. I suggest if you feel like making a post that might come off as being harsh or insulting, you need to take a step back from the keyboard for a bit.

Clio is a fantastically active RPer and I'm always happy to see her at any event. Plus, she rocks her outfits. That hat and top...rawr.

I'm not really watching anything at the moment. I missed the season premier of RuPau's Drag Race on Monday, which makes me very sad. That show gives me life. I'll have to watch it on logo online. Once GoT comes back on, I'll be watching that. And then, other than that, I keep up with my anime on Crunchyroll.

I had to share this because I thought it was really sweet. I'm a teacher, and one of my students has taken a fancy to my FFXIV character. She's drawn me a couple pieces of fanart, but today she gave me this piece. It's just a picture of the picture, but I thought I would share it with you all.

It was uncanny how true to life the readings were. I had a great time, and can't wait to do it again!

Alothia was involved in some pretty self-serving crimes when she was younger. She managed to change when someone that she was fairly close to ended up getting hurt. If that hadn't had happened, Alothia would probably be a very different person. Instead of having run Corvus Cinis, she would have continued to run her little gang of criminals in the back alleys of Ul'dah. Chances are that she would have gotten caught in her own game at least once, and become mentally and physically scarred from the ordeal, or have ended up dead on some side street. The latter would probably have been the better of those options. All in all, Aly can be pretty scary when faced with a situation that induces stress, her reactions becoming sporadic and unpredictable, especially with her magic. People would have ended up dead, and by her own hand. My guess is that eventually she would have been caught and given up to judgement at the hands of the people in charge. Yay jail or execution~!

Alothia happens upon the poster on the wall of the Quicksand. She pauses and reads over the words, her brow quirked in a high arch. Seriously? The Flea? That would be a fitting name were it him. Asshole. She tears down the poster and folds it, placing it between the pages of her journal. Perhaps I should contact this...Captain Fitzroy. Breaking and Entering isn't high on their list, but stealing...under the noses of the guards. That might be worth something... She smirks and walks to the bar, a jaunt in her step.

Once upon a time, there was a game called Final Fantasy XIV. It wasn't well liked, and the people who were there were varied and enjoyed the game for what it was. In the real world, it was November. Someone who didn't think that they would ever want to play an MMO got sucked into this world of Eorzea and wanted to feel more a part of it. Throughout her journey, she met Rin Limley and Seraphine Winter. And through them, she learned about RP. What it was, how to do it. And she floundered. She had no clue. Her character, Alothia, had no personality at first. She was simply there. Fast forward five years into the future. The player has grown. The Character has grown. And here we are.
