Personally, I stay away from anything that tries to get gil out of me. I've never believed in using RP as a way to raise real funds. I don't particularly care for it. But that's just my own honest opinion.

I've had to do this. I had to cut the player out of my life entirely, and I wrote it into my character's backstory that she left him during the time that she was on "hiatus." I left it open ended so that if he ever came back, he could still interact with other people who happened to know my character, but I am not going to actively seek this player out, and if they ever do show back up, I am not going to interact with them. It would not be healthy for me, and I know that. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, that you've got to figure out what is best for you. I know that some people can cut someone out OOCly but still interact with characters on an IC level. More power to them. I am not one of those people. The amount of anxiety that I was caused was causing me problems IRL, and I knew at that point that it was a bad idea. There is no way that I could manage that now. And I've surrounded myself with a much better set of friends and RP partners. Hope that helps some.

In all actuality, the two pages that were hit were not what you would call the "popular" kids at all. I don't think that I've ever seen one of them really post on the forums at all. Hey now. Hey now. How is my chocobo to respond? He can't type with those big claws of his. I'm certainly alive and well though. I wouldn't have even noticed the page being disturbed if a friend didn't inform me. Do you guys ban IP addresses or just accounts? We can do both. It depends on whether it is a proxy server or an individual IP. And I honestly wouldn't have noticed the troll at all if they hadn't hit the page of your chocobo. It tipped me off because of the lack of a last name. I just didn't understand why those pages got hit. It was really weird.

She found documents for new Manderville Gold Saucer content awaiting Yoshi-P's seal of approval - specifically involving minions! It appears the development team has done quite a bit of planning already, and has even gone as far as creating the actual content before receiving approval from Yoshi-P! (That probably isn't a good idea, right?) I suppose this means I should really focus on collecting all the minions I'm missing right away! But wait, there's more! Honestly, if there are things that you like from other people's profiles, copy the formatting and change the colors around. That's what I've done. It takes some getting used to, but once you figure out what certain things do, it's pretty fun!

Mine would have to be my linkshells from 1.0, Aes Sedai Tower and Corvus Cinis. It was a shame that things went the way they did when 2.0 hit, and we ended up splitting up and it formed rifts that haven't fully healed between us all yet. But during 1.0, they were my family. We had so much fun together, and I really do miss those times quite a bit. We'd have stupid death races and hide and seek events. Crafting faires where people could come, bring their mats, and our crafters would make things for them. There was RP, and even the people who didn't RP liked to sit around and listen to the RP. There were connections that I had with people in other linkshells that I still have today, even though I don't see people quite as often. I honestly look back on it so fondly. It's probably one of the happiest times I've ever had in an MMO. Jutat is comprised of a lot of the same people, and some of the oldies are crawling out of the woodwork to come back. I do miss some of the connections, but that's why I've been posting on our FC thread and in the IC forum hoping to form some more.
