Summerfest across the street, might just as well go over there while I wait for Maintenance Part Deux to finish up... Around 6 hours of down time today, lets hope they get it fixed this time.

I'm going to take this time to finish off FF13-2, i pretty much nailed through it yesterday and wanted to complete it before my time is swallowed up by this. Got like... 1 and a half chapters left.

Everyone is handling these downtimes pretty well I would say. I can't say that I didn't expect them with the influx of players for the Early Access when the game is technically only a couple of hours old officially. It's like a baby and thus we should treat it as such.

 

For myself I'm gonna continue to work on Penelope's wiki page!

I was able to get back on briefly, but then they made an announcement asking everyone to log off for them to perform maintenance. Oh well!

*Froths in rage* I slept for nearly 12 hours after logging on for an hour this morning. Took my time waking up, got some caffeine, poked through imgur to get everything out of the way for early access... and then this!

Everyone here is handling them well. In game i saw a few hissy fits when they started to announce down times. I guess it just depends on expectations. If you just know some major catastrophe will happen when such a large operation opens you just kind of roll with it and let the early hiccups get sorted out.

 

From what i can gather it's been kind of a pain since beta for them so more people should have expected something like this. It's like when a plane gets canceled at the airport due to a technical fault there is nothing anyone can do about it. Shouting only makes you feel worse and ruins the atmosphere.

Considering the NA?EU is usually treated like an after-thought by most Asian game devs (or at the least its how it feels), something like that wouldn't surprise me. lol
