Not a forum error per se but DEFINITELY something that doesn't seem right... I just logged onto my account, then logged out so my boyfriend could log onto his. He had typoed his password at first and on his second attempt was suddenly barred entirely from logging in for half an hour. I hopped on my account so as to forward his message on his behalf only to find that my account too was placed on a 30 minute wait as I type this on my phone. Is there any way that this peculiarly harsh restriction be lessened in the future, please?

This right here was something I was considering doing so I could get a head-start on leveling because dang, I do love having healers, and the head-start would do me well. Seeing that other people are doing the same (or have done) makes me all the more tempted to do this, ahah

Ah, now this I can understand of course :thumbsup: But don't you think it can be interesting for the people viewing this thread to see different reactions from different people ? This way they can make up their mind by themselves, and make an educated choice when they want to join a Free Company, based on what they saw here ? Keep in mind that as it's disrespectful to call out, they'll cast judgement on all individuals and parties involved as matters such as this could have been better settled by privately speaking to Sastra inquiring why you were rejected so the two of you could have come to a respectful understanding and she could even have helped you.

I think what he's trying to say is that turning this thread from a search for a Free Company that suits your hours into a call-out thread is disrespectful and inappropriate not only to the person you're calling out but also the people viewing the thread and offering help.

Not sure if you're poking fun or trying to imply that horses wouldn't live healthily in Eorzea, just going to get that out there because assuming one over the other could be a bad miscalculation haha It'd be pretty sad to get a rare animal in Eorzea and watch it die, admittedly, but I imagine it could make for some pretty good roleplay. To be fair though, in real-life while horses existed in North America a few million years ago, they ended up wiping out in North America and thriving in Europe and Asia. Domesticated horses were (in a sense re-) introduced into North America by the Spanish during their years of conquest. What horses managed to run off and do their own thing created the wild horses of the past few hundred years. They're pretty hardy, generally speaking. (Edited, because it helps if I spell Eorzea right. Bagh.)

I DID IT. I finally remade A'toli into Atoli. Now she's a hyur far easterner. I'm much more content this way. She kind of has small eyes and bushy eyebrows but I've grown to love them.

There's also a super-fancy Teamspeak 3 server for those interested in mouth-hole communications! Lovely folks in this Free Company, loving the roleplay thus far. Things are never short of interesting.

After finally running myself broke purchasing a private room, I have decided that I will pray to the Yuletide fairies for an Oasis Canopy bed and various fancy doo-dads for housing. Well, in GW2 I feel like there were a lot of cliche characters (at least, in the public roleplay I managed to find!). Many mutes, stutterers, blind folks, general damsels in distress and big damn heros. I find it sooo refreshing to see characters who can highlight the fact that they can be tender, empathetic, and/or gentle without having a gimmick that feels very worn out and exhausting in general FFXIV roleplay. :B Making a disability into a gimmick always rubbed me the wrong way...

Once I get bored of trying to max every class out on A'toli, I'll toss my hyur mischief-maker your way if you're still searching!
