No one can give you anything concrete because there isn't anything. The product of this particular union has not been depicted. I've wondered if Au Ra/Miqo crossbreeds would come out with a boney-furry tail and one horn and a fuzzy ear. I'm afraid to say I can't really think of a way to make it attractive. Then again, I'm not SE's art department. I wouldn't be surprised if any upcoming crossbreeds we see are of a more....subdued nature I.E. more Elezen/Hyur or Seeker/Keeper mixes. I don't think you'll see anything outlandish - mainly because they aren't going to want to create the character model for it if they don't have to. The majority of the playerbase doesn't worry about this sort of thing. My 2 cents.

Dropping truth. This kind of thing is starting to not bug me as much anymore. I've met way more people think me/my rp is amazing but there just always seems to be this vocal minority who is just like "MRRRRAHHH FUCK TEADRINKER OMG THIS BITCH &%$^&E%^^CVTYCUVBHVT&" Like....you can either bust your ass trying to appease these people or just let them sit in their safe space and whine by themselves. *shrug*

You can mention or ask about anything. The answers you receive should be based within the boundaries of the lore. If it falls outside those boundaries it's not meant as any sort of personal affront.

About the only way I know of of getting into Balmung right now is via transfer or being exceedingly diligent and creating a character on the server right after they come up from maintenance. Literally within the minute. Balmung appears to be the main server for RP but there are small pockets of communities located on other servers. If you check the Linkshell Hall you should find those that have made themselves known. As far as Gligamesh I can't speak to their RP community because I do not play on that server but I have heard from chatter that many have migrated to Balmung in recent months. I completely agree that it's pretty negative for newer RPers and, personally, I think its questionable and disingenuous of Square to allow characters onto the 'full' server....for a fee. :roll: That is my opinion, though. Hope this information was helpful.

I'm glad they're navigating away from the popgun/musket looking things but they should stop before they become pseudo Call of Duty I think they have a nice balance here. Oh, they're terrible, but they remind me of the Vibromatic Heart Beds from the Sims. "The Woohoo Bed!" I saw a few comments on my tumblr post for this announcement. People agree. Woohoo Bed. ...I am laughing so hard right now. At least we can call it what it is lol.

There is a Xaela tribe called the Ejinn that seems to be along what you want. "A river tribe that chooses to swim from place to place rather than walk or take boats. It is said that members of the Ejinn can hold their breaths for up to a quarter bell, and will often migrate while almost completely submerged in order to avoid contact with hostile tribes." That being said, I personally think the bio luminescence is a bit out there. Everything else seems fine. Alchemy might be a neat way to build on already present traits.

My characters race is generally decided upon based on what character concept I was looking to play. For example, if I wanted to RP a dragoon I'd make an elezen. If I wanted a doman ninja I'd be au ra or midlander. If I wanted to do Ala Mhigan refugee I'd do Highlander. I prefer pumping my creativeness into what's going on with and happening TO the character rather than exhausting it all on trying to explain why they are some weird combination because I think the cpose is pretty. (I see this happen a lot.) I typically don't find a lot of interest in putting a massive amount of focus on my characters race and how they 'overcame' the status quo but if you do then cool. That being said I have found Midlander to be the most fun. This is my opinion.

I'm glad I'm not the one who noticed this. The sheen on the skin actually makes me wince a bit.

I feel like there are a lot of more playful Ishgardian characters and tons of heretics and not enough folk trying to execute them. Yes....executions. *rubs hands together*
