Maintenance Rage Thread

I totally just wanna log in and get my CE prizes, I'm still trying to settle on what class I'd like to focus on but I think just the basic 'you can't play right now' is making me wanna play more :tonberry:

OMG, reading the first couple pages and couple last pages of this topic I am kinda glad I don't have time to play (yet). I hope all the drama in all forums and their FB site has calm down by the time I can start playing. Also that the game works by then and doesn't have insane login issues, so I can actually play!

 

I really feel bad for all of you who waited to play in these first days and it seems not to work well  And I am also worried that the game gets super bad reviews like with the 1.0, and waaah, more drama all over internet!

Did manage to get on twice tonight with a little persistence, however I subsequently crashed both times because I had to alt-tab to look something up. ~_~ Probably for the best as I do have to do things around the house but still...

Honestly I don't give a rats backside about reviews. All they are is some paid monkey's opinions; and they are as often as not, jaded and biased. As long as Yoshi-p doesnt get some hair-brained idea to dismantle the game and make A Realm Reborn Yet Again, the game will still be up and running because of the main audience (Asia). So even if the game tanks in the reviews and drops into negative numbers (has that ever happened?) it will still be there for us to play more than likely.

Looks like things are thinning out, the west coast at least is closing in on bed time, so I expect the server load to get not as bad

 

Now the only decision remaining is if I want to play all night and go to classes tomorrow as a zombie or actually sleep like a normal person.

Cant even get the damn world list to update... SE has 15 days before I start actually paying for this game (and start getting pissed) to fix the servers.

so, on the JP server I am playing on right now, I named my character connection Lost, and the CNJ quest just gave me this beautiful quote I had to get a screen cap of.

I read somewhere that the queue seems to be for about 500 , so if you're player 501 you don't get to join queue.

The 1017 error is even more infuriating when you get the loading screen for 10 to 15 seconds before you get the troll message.

and to add to the fun, I am now getting "unable to update Na/Eu list, so I try my JP server, and what do I get? 1017

 

I think this game hates me...

And doubly infuriating when you see that you made it to the queue and there are 20 people ahead of you. You settle into your chair and get ready to play. 

 

Then you're hit with 1017 anyway.
