Here comes a few! -Kudos to Tae & Co. from the Night Blades for literally scooping me up and taking me to a one and done T5 clear. My FCs been banging our heads against it and I only mentioned offhandedly that I wouldn't mind clearing it (as I'd pretty much assumed it would have to wait till post-Heavensward Roflstomping) and a short while later we were done. -Kudos to that brave (and patient) Brayflox team that stuck with my level 32 self tanking it. One wipe on the boss before we cleared it (and two more times to boot). It was a nice boost to the sword-n-board confidence. -Kudos to Steel Wolf & Delial Grimsong for being patient with me! I know I've been talking various RP stuffs for a few weeks and now that it's finally getting off the ground it's super exciting. Just the starting tidbits we've done has me itching for more!

If childhood/teenage Zarek saw himself...he'd probably be very shocked if not terrified honestly. He grew up as a momma's boy basically. She sheltered and taught her little half-n-half son a lot and with her gone he pretty much fell in with the wrong crowd (the Syndicate) and was raised as such. If a childhood/teenage Martiallais saw himself....well he'd probably say he was a heretic for what he's done. >_>

Dear High Levels Characters that Queue for Low Level Dungeons, Don't be a dick. No one cares if your Eos can handle healing, don't go pulling ahead of the group (or the tank). Equally, no one cares about your Excalibur Zeta that you've linked. On a similar vein, while I appreciate all the uber deeps a level 20 CNJ brings to the table, I appreciate even more saving the rollercoaster rides for amusement parks, not my health bars. It's completely subjective as to whether they're 'mistakes' in the first place. FFXIV's developers have been amazing so far and whilst they're willing to compromise they do have a vision for the game that they want to stick with. ...and I don't think anyone can really claim that the developers don't fix their mistakes when one compares 1.0 to 2.0... They haven't had to nuke the world again, that's for sure.

I love that WAR is getting more to it. Stance dance classes/characters are almost always my favorites. Can someone please sum up MNK changes for me? I'm at work and have no sound. ; ; Monks are getting more strategic, is what I got from it, and will need to pay very close attention to what stance they are in for new possibilities, and some cases will have to give up their stances for defensive purposes. The new combat moves, in tandem, look like somebody at SE really likes Shotokan characters from street fighter - lots of fire, uppercuts and jump kicks. I couldn't ask for more. 8-) Monk changes plus the love coming to Paladin and DRK news? I'm a happy camper.

Looking at the lists posted here I honestly feel like a bit of a slacker. >_> My goals were more character specific than anything. Zarek -Maaaaaybe finish his Zodiac stuff? This is something I'll probably just keep working on as I have (in my own little mind) latched onto this quest as being similar to the 0.5 armor upgrade way back in vanilla WoW. On one of my back and forth stints with the game I wanted to finish this but found out that Cataclysm destroying the world (basically) removed the quest so I never finished it. I've kind of put it aside for focusing on Martiallais though. -Up his Item Level in general? Vague intentionally, as he's sitting at 118 right now. -Kill Primals/Raid stuffs - Seriously, still on T5 and haven't beaten Ramuh EX or Titan EX yet -Cross Class - Eventually I need to pick up Blood for Blood and Mercy Stroke -RP things are already rolling so this is a Work in Progress (and never really complete honestly) Martiallais -Get to level 50 = COMPLETE -Finish the MSQ = COMPLETE -Farm up the Lancer armor set from ST (only missing the legs now) -Cross Class Stuffs = COMPLETE (MRD and CNJ) -Level Gladiator/Paladin to 50 = Work In Progress as I'm level 21 now -Zodiac Weapon is again another maybe/eventually/someday to have for Paladin would be nice but can wait given DRK will have something different to do as well. -RP ALL the things given there's lots of Ishgard-ish RP happening New Unnamed Au Ra Alty Guy - this has pretty much taken a backburner seat -Create said person -Work through MSG

For Zarek at least, EBs are a marriage though (given his luck) not really something he's ever anticipating happening. On the other hand Martiallais, being an Elezen Ishgardian, I've actually poked about at the idea that a political marriage could happen for him someday. While it wouldn't be something he'd want to do (given how these things are usually set up), he would put the needs of the family above his own desires and go through with it. Hopefully without any assassins though. >_> I think how common marriage is depends on the race and where they're from? Like for some reason I'd think more marriages happen in say Gridania than Limsa. I blame the scenery honestly LOL. While I could maybe see the Las Vegas type weddings happening in Ul'dah, cause as long as you've got the gil you can make most anything happen there.

Gods, Osric. Can't you follow the forum rules? Osric, like most people with authority in Ul'dah, doesn't have to follow the rules, he just makes sure EVERYONE ELSE does.
